Really!!!!! What a great video add for Ducati!!!! This unit appears to be no different to the edge except with this so called 'Crash Detection'. Not a big upgrade from the Cardo Edge.

Seems like. On their site, it allows the old 2nd helmet kit to be used on this new ones. "PACKTALK PRO/EDGE 2ND HELMET KIT WITH SOUND BY JBL" which is 40mm.

My Palk Talk slim won't dock to the desk top app ect to do updates.. I suspect I have to order a new Proprietary Cable for it. The voice commands actually work with Cardo. Syncing with my Garmin 360 GPS is always a pain .. With my Sena voice commands won't work .. but syncing to my Garmin 360 GPS is always a breeze. I never use my Cardo anymore because I upgraded to a Shoei Neotec II which has Provisions for a Built in Sena .. as it should be! I have not tried a clip on unit to see if they are too bulky or can fall off the helmet too easily .. I have issues finding the right charge cable for the Sena also .. It seems to not be a USB C size.. I label my cables with masking tape.. So I don't try pushing the wrong cable into the plug.

other the crash detection the rest can be done via firmware/software update. Crash detection works great on my iPhone and Apple Watch when I fell on my bike.

Hello again. I have already sent you 3 emails and have not gotten a reply yet. As soon as ı installed my 4x system I realized that left jbl speaker is not working at all. I have contacted your official dealer in Miami ( Auto Craze ) and they say I have to talk to amazon. I talked to amazon and they say they can not do anything because the return window is closed. So what am I supposed to do with a non-working jbl speaker. All I need is a replacement of the speakers. Thank you in advance

A battery part number because my Edge already is down to 4 hours max before it shuts down. And the Edge has a plug in battery so user serviceability is not an issue…

My Packtalk Edge works just fine with my Android. Make sure everything is up to date. But admittedly there is A LOT of variability with Android.

@@blurfonz88 might be a setting that turns it off when it's in motion. I dunno. But I do know that when I go "Hey Google" it listens while on the bike. All that to say it's very likely a phone issue/setting, not a Cardo issue.

My packtalk bold does this anyway and its about 4 years old Continuously rings the last person i have called on my phone, no matter how many updates i do it Missus is driving nuts by it, phone bill is through the roof some months And it only ever does it when my lids of my head and im enjoying a coffee or lunch 😡😡

My Freecom 4X does the same thing whenever I'm talking/singing to myself. It thinks I'm telling it to call the last person. I disabled voice commands because of this.

Maybe Ducati riders are always crashing, but I don't think BMW Clan will give one iota about this as they already have it ;-) What I want is DAB, because the FM is utterly useless. Also find a helmet maker and get modular with them ;-)

A crash detection device shouldn’t it be made of some indestructive material ? I can't see it very useful in case I crash and the helmet hit the pavement in the side of the Cardo Pro. It will be smashed in the accident and not useful at all.

It will be nice to update older products with some new features. I'm very disappointed with software upgrades, I want to buy a new one but I'm not sure I will do it, because when next come I will not receive any upgrade from that and that's not correct. It's okay I have BOLD and now it's time to buy new, but when EDGE come on market you fix voice commands for example and you should put that upgrade on BOLD too but you don't. Generally I'm very satisfied but in 21 century that's not good, GoPro do something similar don't listen a customers and now I see many many people on INSTA 360 their app and video transfer it's much much better, I hope to you will see your mistake and avoid GoPro and Nokia scenario....

mmm... still isn't better than a discord powered solution. Except for the small grey areas where you don't have 3g that is what is required to do voice.

From the riding that that model/rider exhibited going through the town and not observing far enough in the distance to identify the van as a potential hazard. May I say that rider is an accident waiting to happen. Thank goodness he has the Packtalk pro to immediately ring his girlfriend and inform her of his demise. Maybe motorcycle accessory manufacturers and wider motorcycle related advertisers might, just might have a more realistic image of its core markets? I know I'm a old fart and don't identify as the core demographic of the advertisers, but stuff me there are younger riders out there that will be influenced b y the dumbassed way of riding this meat sack is displaying.

While I also found this ducati commercial weird, the van didn't even hit the road... it was still on the "sidewalk" when the should-be-at-a-trackday jockey passed. (good thing he was up and raiding early in the morning where there is less traffic)
