Who said swings are for kids? Strap in for some big-kid fun because this ride was designed with thrill seekers in mind. It’s part nostalgia, part traditional swing, and all flying high. Feel the exhilaration of a bird in flight as the ride’s mighty arms extend outward at a 45-degree angle and the swings reach incredible speeds of 50 kilometers per hour. WindSeeker’s dizzying height of 301 feet (yes, that’s over 27 stories) promises breathtaking views of park.
What’s more, WindSeeker is two rides in one, offering a totally different experience at night! When the sun goes down, the fun lights up with WindSeeker’s elaborate light show. As the swings ascend to the top of the tower, a supernatural light display comes to life with a kaleidoscope of colourful patterns and shapes.

My class went to CW for a trip and my best friend was really looking forward to riding this ride, so she did. I, on the other hand, don't like heights, so I waited at the bottom. She was having the time of her life, then the ride got stuck at the top! She was stuck up there for at least an hour. After she safely got back to the ground, she wanted to go again. At least she had fun and wasn't scared for the rest of her life after.

The scary thing about this ride isn't the forces (because there are no intense forces), but imagining the ride breaking and you plummeting to the ground below. But if you can get over that, it's a great ride with an amazing view.

I did not know previous to riding the Wind Seeker that you could feel both incredibly bored and really scared simultaneously but with the wind seeker this odd combination of feelings is possible.

I went on at nighttime and it was so beautiful! I remember it being quite chilli so when i was talking to me friend beside me I was stammering and shivering. Lol! Amazing view though 😍

If your not scared of heights and like relaxing rides this ride is for you! It doesn’t give that stomach feeling at all, I would say the inwards seat is a lil scarier, but still super fun!

Rode this two weeks ago. Made it the final ride of the day, after conquering Mine Buster, Behemoth, Yukon Striker, and others. Got onto it at sunset, thinking it would be easy, calm, relaxing, romantic, etc. Let me assure you - *it is none of those things.*

This windseeker probably has one of the best views of any windseeker at any cedar fair park. The only ones ahead of it are probably carowinds and cedar point.

Rainbow Unicorn love is it scary? Um, well it really just depends if ur a roller coaster person or not. If u r then u will probably rlly enjoy it like I did bc it's not even that tall if u see it in person. If ur not a roller coaster person than I recommend that u don't go on it at all bc someone in my class went on it and they got an anxiety attack bc of the 3 seconds that they hold u there for so yah. It really just depends on u but good luck anyway 👍🏼

I love this ride, its so relaxing. i went on at sunset and it was beautiful the whole day we were dying because of the heat (TimberWolf Falls also helped with that) but then we went on this and it was amazing.

Yukon Striker is only 240+ feet. It's dangerous for a dive coaster to be taller than that I assume.

Not sure why, but this is my favourite or second favourite ride! Especially at night time when the lights come on. It's just so peaceful and nice with the light wind lightly whipping in your face that somehow makes me feel nostalgic for some reason.

To be honest, this would have been less scary if it were moving faster. The slowness of it made me way to anxious when I went on it, but the view was pretty. If you have a problem with heights, the truck is to look out, not down

As someone who is deathly afraid of heights , kinda proud I went on this tbh. Will I go back on it? HELL NO. the whole time I was like please make it stop and let me be safe on the ground again 🤣 but I’m a big roller coaster guy. So behemoth , leviathan are so fun to me. Just went on Yukon striker recently and I almost had a panick attack in line but it was so worth it. Yeah I’ll just stick to my roller coasters tbh .

This ride is NOT FOR KIDS! I went up with my 8 YO and while she was over the height limit she was too slim for this ride, they also asked her to sit on the right side which tilted down. The harness was nit thigh enough and I was terrified that with one wrong move she will slip out. There should be a weight limit and it need to be for higher people.
