"FULL" creative freedom is probably a stretch. Feige is the one who has to make sure everything lines up with his plans. I'm glad to see they're trying new things and taking risks though. DC is doing a bang up job too because the execs are finally letting the writers, directors and producers do what has always been best for DC... Not trying to be like the competition and just making awesome movies with awesome scripts instead of hiring hacks to mess with other directors masterpieces. This does look to be a pretty good year for Marvel and a milestone for DC. It's a great time for comic book fans to be alive. Take care and happy holidays!

Now that Thanos is dead and dusted, she no longer has a place to direct her anger, rage, grief and sadness over Visions death. This might lead her to internalise it all and escape into her own mind to avoid the reality of it, creating this perfect mindscape and slowly over the course of the show you can see this utopia cracking and over the course of the show, she learns to accept and move on from Visions death. Accepting it but never forgetting it

@@raoswon wow long comment ^^ I think this series is not intended to bring Vision back, but rather 1/ to evolve Wanda and 2/ other secondary characters. 3/ Vision is not a "good character" for the MCU because he is much too powerful but ... 4/ why not! 1/ She will play one of the main roles with Dr. Strange in 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'. The goal of the MCU is, I think, to evolve Wanda into Scarlet Witch. To make a character overpowered but psychologically unstable, and capable to alter reality. This is also what she will do in this series: change things around her, sometimes without consequences but sometimes with serious consequences. And above all, show his slow descent into hell. She's also a character fans have become attached to: she's an orphan, her brother died in front of them, she had to kill Vision and then she saw Vision being killed by Thanos next. The most memorable scene of her is the destruction of the building in Lagos which killed several Wakandans and where she feels responsible (in 'Captain America: Civil War', at the beginning of the movie, when they try to stop Brock Rumlow). So fans have a lot of empathy for her and many feel that she deserves to have a series dedicated to her. Vision made a much less impression on people's minds. 2/ The series will also be an opportunity to develop certain characters, in order to make them appear more easily in the films. We thus find Monica Rambeau (the daughter of Maria Rambeau) who we'll see evolve in 'Captain Marvel 2', but also Jimmy Woo who had appeared only in Ant-Man and the Wasp (and whom I see becoming the "new Phil Coulson"), or Darcy Lewis who only appeared in the first two Thor and who could become a more important character in 'Thor: Love and Thunder' where Jane Foster (of which she was the assistant in astrophysics) could become The Mighty Thor . Characters that have changed little over the MCU films in recent years and that need an update; what you can do with a series where you can take the time to do it, when in a film it would lose interest. 3/ Vision is not a good character, although I like him. Indeed, he's overpowered, and the MCU doesn't need a Captain Marvel-bis. Its introduction was due to the fact that an "anti-Ultron" was needed. But, as we have seen, the Feige Brothers diminished his powers and his appearances in the films that followed because ... if he was given his powers, the films would be an hour shorter! Additionally, Wanda and Vision are two of the most powerful characters in the MCU. In the comics, Wanda can't have children because the level of power that her offspring would have could threaten the cosmic beings of the Marvel Universe. (Well, they'll still get some eventually, but they end up dying and Wanda is already crazy enough there is no need for that 😋) Finally, his death is useful for the development of Wanda as mentioned above. 4/ Despite everything, his body envelope is still intact, although damaged, and the circuits can be reused. He could very well return without his powers, fixed by Shuri or by Banner. And participate in the development of new weapons and outfits for the Avengers.

Moments that literally sent chills down my spine: Vision's first entrance when he says "Wanda" and she reacts. I think this is the first time she's seen him since he died, because there seems to be a lot of emotion in this moment. When the baby mobile full of butterflies turned into real butterflies. When Monica Rambeau says "I don't know", then glitches to a smile. It really feels like Wanda, consciously or subconsciously, is controlling reality second-by-second, fixing things she can't reconcile logically in her head as she goes. The music! "Daydream Believer" fits so perfectly with what we're so far understanding this show to be, and the way it plays throughout this trailer, sunny and bright, and yet...off. The voice from outside, trying to break through. (S.W.O.R.D.?) "This is our home." "Then let's fight for it." I SO want Vision to be real, and I don't think I can deal with Wanda losing him again! She's lost so much, and I adore Vision. The mind stone. Just floating there. Is it real? Has Wanda, in creating Vision from her own thoughts and energy (given to her from the Mind Stone), caused the Mind Stone to refabricate itself from the atoms Thanos smashed it to?
