Thank god for these pages. I have been watching the Hornby programmes on U.K television, and unlike last season, it's all about sodding trains. Hardly anything Airfix at all ! Can we please have a separate television series on the Airfix side !

I thought the same. I have zero interest in trains, was waiting desperately for the Airfix parts. Very poor marketing from Airfix.

I can only agree but like MOS says, it's a silly choice of priorities. The management seem more interested in pushing TT120, OO gets the odd mention and feature, as does Scalextric, but Airfix is the F35 of the series. Seldom seen. I can only assume that in terms of profit and loss and volume, Airfix is the lowest down their business model scale apart from poor old Corgi. Happy to be proven wrong!

I am just looking at a 1/72 Hawker Typhoon from Airfix that I bought in the '90s but the molds were probably from the '70s and it is like comparing a lump of mud to fine china, don't get me wrong because the lump of mud has possibilities, but the china is a good thing too, a really really good thing
