@@Official_Royalworldnot so sure he was “lucky.”‘I think anything to do with the royals is hard and not at all enviable. It seems to be filled with problems, scandal, revenge and constant upset. I actually don’t think it’s worth it. Paul has also had to pay the price following Diana’s death with the wrath of her sons for speaking about Diana as well as being accused of stealing Diana’s possessions and so on. I don’t see that as “lucky”.

Luck was truly on his side. The source of this luck was Princess Diana's restrain from firing him years before she died. She is known to have not trusted him, felt he was an annoyance, pushy, overbearing and thought he could operate in social circles well above his station. I am inclined to believe this opinion since immediately after her passing he first stole personal items from Kensington Palace, and has since then never missed an opportunity for self promotion and profiting from oversharing a vast amount of information that I am sure was given to him in confidence.

This is referring to Tiggy, the nanny that Diana thought was having an affair with Charles. Well, I'm not trying to defend Charles, but my hunch, is that Tiggy was not guilty of that, but more likely that she was too close with Diana's boys, partly because she was reported to have differences in opinions with Diana, about how Diana was raising her boys, so I bet Tiggy self-rightously thought that she could do a better job than Diana. That's what I think. And also, from what little of Harry's book that I have gone through, the nanny Tiggy sounded very controlling, and too determined to do things her own way, regardless of what anybody else wanted. Why didnt Tiggy ask if Diana minded about this or that, type of thing?!

I would much sooner think that Tiggy did a better job handling William and Harry than Diana ever did. Diana was dumb and self-centered; so self-centered, in fact, that she allegedly cried to a very young William about her marital problems with his father. You don't tell a young child about such things. Moreover, she often tried to create an emotional divide between Charles and his sons, described by Wendy Berry, housekeeper at Highgrove, in her book, The Housekeeper's Diary.

Ms. Berry does not report the same demeaning behavior by Charles towards servants as Burrell claims. Burrell appears to be on a mission to trash Charles's reputation, even going so far to insinuate a few years ago in an episode of The Royal Beat that he was responsible for Diana's death.
