@@jesusisgod4992 He was a grown man when they met. He fathered two kids and they discussed having more. He had a phenomenal career and life. I do not watch tons of TV and did not watch him or know of him before his death... but after I've been watching tons of his work and videos. I see him say he was blessed, but I have yet to hear him talk of his religious beliefs. Maybe he needed spiritual healing? I don't know but I do think it's unfair to blame his wife and partner in life. I don't think i have seen a better duo than them. I'd compare their love and chemistry to some of the best ever couples. They had a powerful love. She said it constantly & so did he. I believe in spiritual things that most ppl do not and judging by your user name, I'm thinking you do too. Maybe he said he was blessed but didn't think of it the way spiritual ppl do? I do not know but I think he had tremendous success and love and small children and he chose to end his great life. I think he may have been struggling spiritually. I pray his wife is strong spiritually for all of them because the family needs her spiritual strength right now. They have all the other tools in life. For now I left them up in prayer and do not blame any person for his choice to leave. Lord, please protect them in Jesus name. Amen.

Ugh, finding out Twitch was gone hit me like a gut punch. He was so amazing, sweet and down to earth. Why didn’t I know he was suffering? I remember his beginning on SYTCD. Fell in love with him like so many of us did. The world has taken a huge hit. Love and prayers to his family. If we are devastated and heartbroken, I can’t begin to imagine what they are going through. ❤️

Boy do I miss these earlier versions of SYTYCD!! I was a diehard fan; they had judges who really knew their stuff. Choreographers who excelled in their genres. (Misty Copeland was a judge one season. This was first place I realized how awesomely talented and knowledgeable Misty was. She was critiquing a dancer. She said he should try to move his shoulders and head a certain way and she demonstrated. Changed the entire move with one little tweak. Awesome.) Yep! I miss the show. And now I miss tWitch. So very sad that he felt he couldn't go on. So very sad for his family.

Somehow I found myself here after seeing all the reports regarding Twitch’s passing. This is for Allison, even though I do not know her. Welcome to the club nobody wants to be a part of. I lost half my family right before Christmas 2013 and became a young widow overnight, left to raise our 3 year old daughter on my own. It’s a journey I wouldn’t wish on my worse enemy. The shock to your entire system is like nothing I can explain. Everything about you changes. I was told early on to treat yourself like a patient in the ICU because that is the level of trauma your body goes through when such a significant and sudden loss happens. Your children will be the only lifeline that keeps you afloat, hold onto them tight. The first year you experience something called “widows fog”. Where you’re going through the motions but everything is a blur. Only with time and healing does that begin to fade. Don’t make any rash decisions or changes, big or small within the first year because many widows have been taken advantage of during such a vulnerable time. Just know that it feels like the world ended, and it did for you, but the new woman you will become after traveling this difficult road, will be nearly indestructible and so much stronger then you ever thought possible. I’m far along in my journey now where I can honestly say, as much as I wish to go back and have my life how it was, as much as I miss my best friend who was the love of my life, I would’ve never became the woman I am today and that’s something I wouldn’t change for anything. I might have lost him, but I found myself. You will survive this. Hang in there. 💗

In my lifetime I’ve seen true love maybe 6 times. tWitch and Alison were the 7th. And they were that rare “soulmate” love. And it just makes no sense. I pray every day for his wife, his children, their parents, family and friends. The holidays are already such a sensitive time, I can’t imagine what they are going through.
