• When Jinx and Vi were young, Camille killed their parents for reasons unknown (likely political); separating the two and leaving them to grow up on the streets. Jinx, being a sweet and harmless individual, found it hard living in streets of Zaun. Then one day, an ex-criminal named Warwick took Jinx in and over time, became her father figure. This ended when some of Warwick’s past enemies tried to get revenge. Though Warwick was able fend them off, while a frightened Jinx watched from a corner, he was not prepared for the mad chemist that showed up to abduct him. Now a traumatized orphan for the second time in her life, Jinx wandered back onto the streets. Though this time, she was taken in by Ekko and the Lost Children of Zaun. She ran with these kids for months and though needed to grow used to the more wild nature of their life, came to see them as her new family. • Meanwhile, when Warwick trashed Singed’s lab, the Mad Chemist remembered the name he had mumbled before “dying” on his operating table. Using this name to start tracking down Warwick, he soon came upon Jinx; whom he abducted and interrogated/experimented on. •Jinx spent weeks in Singed’s lab before she was able to escape; though she was no longer the same girl that ran with the Lost Children. The torturous experiments that Singed had subjected her to, left her mind broken: likely causing her to forget parts of her past (though not as much as Warwick). Additionally, she had become far more violent and manic than the kind girl she was before. Because of this complete change in character, the Lost Children no longer welcomed Jinx; likely because she scared them. • Wandering the streets on her own again, Jinx eventually found who she believed to be her sister just before she disappeared; only to reappear as Caitlyn’s partner in Piltover.
