One of my favorite things about Taylor is how she goes out of her way to say something kind and personal to people. She knows she's a big star but it seems she always wants to be personable, and here you can see how she's kept it up, from the 1989 bit clearly having researched the cricket player (sorry, I don't know his name lol) and in the last one too, making sure to comment on (I wanna say Alex?)'s work outside of playing. Even if it's just her public persona, it's probably why people who meet her always seem to have only nice things to say about her. Also, knowing that this was likely the extent of her and Sophie's meeting each other before she eventually basically offered up her house for Sophie to live in is kind of sweet.

The press sometimes makes Taylor seems like a bad person but as someone who is not a Swiftie, I feel like she is an amazing person you just want to hang out with. I love Taylor and I’m an older woman that has admired her tenacity since I first learned about her. I don’t know if it was just something inside of her or if her parent’s views kept the door open for her to follow her dreams. When I look at my own life, I often wonder how much tenacity I lacked or if I didn’t have enough parental support. Probably a little bit of both. Fear was a factor too. I am sure it played a part in it as well. Nonetheless I’ve lived vicariously through her and others lives, even though our dreams vary from one another. Several other people have had a similar effect with me. My life is near its end. I won’t die with regrets because I have many things to be proud of in my life. However the “What if’s” are still present in my heart,mind and soul. 🌸 All I can do now is, 🌸“Shake It Off” 🌸
