I started to rewatch GND after seeing Secrets of Playboy. It’s not the same for me at all and I think that’s in part due to me growing up a lot since then and also knowing what a predator he was. He founded and funded Playboy, but the women are what made Playboy. Without them, he wouldn’t have made it and to think they paid the women so little and in increments and exploited so many, it’s disgusting! I haven’t read Holly’s book yet, but I absolutely will soon.

However, after reading your book and rewatching the series in my mid-twenties, I have noticed so many things I never before. Like you having your hair in Leia buns and Hef's thoughts on it being ugly, or the time that you tried to shoot a basketball and he got angry/made you sit down, these tiny things that I never even clocked before. I loved your book and its brought a whole new side to GND!

I have always wanted to congratulate you for writing this book. It takes some major balls to write a tell-all regarding your true and honest experiences relating to a person of power ( in the sense of money and notoriety) while still chronicling those experiences experiences in a tasteful manner. You weren't out to bash anyone or or create a scandal; you were just sharing your honest experiences. I think that's one of the many reasons why the book was so well received. Well done!👏

I LOVED The Girls Next Door back in the 2000's. It was my favorite show. The reason why I loved it so much was seeing the friendships between the three of you, mansion staff, other Playmates, your families, your dogs, and the animals at the mansion (like Coco the monkey!). It was really comforting just to see you and your friends doing fun things together, like going shopping for Kendra's birthday party or when you all went horseback riding and ate at the Mexican restaurant. I especially loved the friendship between you and Bridget. It was just so lovely to see you just hanging out and laughing together. I remember the day when your book came out, I stopped at Target on my way home from work to get a copy, and I read the whole thing in two days. It's really great to see you here in KZbin!!

What you said about justifying peoples negative qualities with receipts, compared to people readily accepting your positive opinion on people is so true and interesting, and I’ve never heard that explained before but you did it so eloquently. It’s accurate and relatable, and I wish more people realised it. X

Your self awareness is very inspiring. As someone who experienced trauma, I can relate to that low energy feeling, shutting down and disassociating when I talk about certain things around that trauma. You are very self empowered which is a lot like how I feel now and admire that because I know what it takes to get to that point as well as having people doubt or try to rewrite your story. I can also relate to the dysmorphia as I too struggled with that in the past. Love you!

I’m so glad you’re doing so well after the things that you went through at the mansion. I really like your videos on the history of the different Disney rides. It’s interesting to learn about their origins. I’m going to predict that your next project will be a children’s book. I can see you writing a few good stories for little ones.

I purchased this book and I feel like it was very descriptive of what it's like trying to be an ideal woman who is living to please others instead of focusing on yourself. Reminded me a lot of Marilyn Monroe's story of dealing with men in Hollywood.

I have both your books on audible and listened to them multiple times, now I want to listen again :-) Best to you!!! And we don’t age :-) I certainly looked older then my age earlier in life, and now I get mistaken for half my age :-) I see you’re the same! Looking younger and fresher than ever :)

So, I finished Secrets at Playboy and “stumbled down the rabbit hole” myself! I immediately listened to your book on Audible. Then I binged watched Holly’s World and now I’m watching The Girls Next Door. I feel like I’m going to have to listen to the book again after I finish the GND. I was maybe 14 when the show originally came out and knew nothing about it. It’s been fascinating to learn all about Playboy and your life because it’s not something that was talked about or discussed in my lifetime. Great book! I really enjoy listening to you. 😊

Dear Ms.Holly , I bought your book when it first came out and I lost it , so , I just ordered one from eBay and I also bought your "Vegas Diaries ," book also , maybe a book on makeup or skin care tips next ? Anyway , your book opened up my eyes to how it really was living in the Playboy Mansion and it looked so beautiful and glamourus at the time , I recently bought the series from Amazon and now, I cringe because I didn't really know all of the termoil that you ladies had to endure and now, you're on the way to greatness .Thank you for your book and help .

Holly, I know it's easier said than done but don't listen to the negative people that always try to tear you down. I first read your book when I was living in Tampa, FL. I remember I was in a hotel room because I had no house at the time. I remember reading the first few pages and starting getting hooked on it and read the whole book in just 1 day!!! When I was 18 I wanted to be in Playboy and wanted to live that lifestyle.I used to even watch your shows " The girls next doors" and I was so mesmerized and thought the Mansion was this glamorous and fun place. Well when I read your book I realized that thank God I never applied to do Playboy or become a Playmate. I think this book honestly changed my life... I really enjoyed this book so much and I think alot of women need to read this and realize that being a Playmate is not as fun as it seems. I still think your like the prettiest of them all! I realy hope one day I can meet you so you can sign this book for me...

1) I really appreciate your kindness and honesty. I also think it was classy of you to either change names or simply not name certain people (‘cause I’m about to) 2) I read Izabella’s book when it came out in like 2006 I think. And she just sounded like such a jerk even in her own book and did NOT change names. There was such a difference. I think you’re a class act and have been a fan for what feels like decades now! Wish you the best

I am so sorry anybody had to go through this. I have been in an extremely toxic relationship myself and finally got the courage to leave. People that haven't been through this will never understand. Im glad Holly spoke up and even if people think she is playing victim because she "chose" to live there the bottom line is she was taken advantage of because at the time she was naive and young. It's just wrong what happened to her. I was young and naive and taken advice of too. Thankfully the Lord rescued me out of it and I am happy for Holly. She is absolutely beautiful all on her own without all the extra.. just the way she is.
