Lio is fascinating to me. The dude has publicly talked bad of the company he currently works for multiple times now. It makes me wonder if he’s arrogant or something because it seems bold to believe that you’re at a level where you can get away with it. Sure Stone Cold talked bad about WWE shortly before he walked out that first time but we all understand that’s Stone Cold. He can get away with it because he’s Stone Cold. It would be amazing to me if Lio genuinely believes he’s at a level in wrestling where he can do this and get away with it. In a sense he kinda did in AEW since they didn’t fire him but in hindsight we now know he was on a six month deal and obviously they didn’t resign him. After what he did in WWE and AEW I wonder how much money he’s cost himself by feeling the need to talk poorly of the places he’s currently working at. I mean realistically he probably wouldn’t have survived through those Covid cuts even without the drama but you do wonder if that drama will prevent him from having another opportunity there. Then again the dude seems to retire a bunch so who even knows what he will be up to in a year.

Tony was wrong ..but let me say this . Im black, ive been a wrestling fan for 30 years. I get where she was coming from especially growing up in the 90s when ron Simmons, the rock and booker t were all we had. And ron Simmons should have been the first black wwf champion when he was leading the nation of domination. I get where shes coming from but i cant Really agree with her. And let's be real... big swoll wasn't that good. She had plenty of chances she just didn't get over. Shes better than jade cargill ...but thats not saying much because shes not good at all and Swoll on top of being below average at in ring and shes not great at promos either. But People wanted to like her . She didn't give them a reason. Thats on her. Not Khan. Then she had the nerve to complain about no writers?? If she went to wwe she'd be complaining about crappy gimmicks and how the wrestlers need imput. And im sorry again but none of the black aew wrestlers are ready or over enough to put a world championship or tnt championship on except Jay Lethal. Maybe Scorpio Sky and Anthony Bowens down the line or Dante Martin and hobbs way way way down the line . Thought experiment.....take a Look at all the world champions in pro wrestling rn Impact Moose WWE Roman Reigns Brock Lesnar NJPW Okada MLW Hammerstone ROH Gresham Bandido And take a look at all the black wrestlers outside Lethal , Bowens and Sky.....and sorry not sorry but You're not gonna put sonny kiss, Moriarty, or lio Rush up against those current world champions from other promotions and think they look good with them. Now look at the female world champions WWE Charlotte flair Becky Lynch Impact Deonna Purazzo ROH Rok-C NWA Camille Stardom Shyuri Im sorry but im not putting swoll up against them either ..... she was dead wrong Not getting over doesn't mean the crowd is racist or your boss is racist. Maybe she'll thrive somewhere else. What Khan said was uncalled for but was just as much out of pocket

Here we go playing the black card. I can't say I'm surprised that she used it. Brown, black, white, male or female. As long as you can wrestle and talk you're most likely going to go far. There are even plenty of wrestlers who can only do one of the two and still get tremendous results. Take Thunder Rosa for example. Not the greatest talker but great look and good wrestling. Plenty of room to grow and of Hispanic/brown heritage. All swole ever did was botch and dance like a moron out into the ring. She even got a push and Britt Baker was nice enough to put this nobody over. Props to TK for calling out her trash wrestling all while plugging his show. Swole should thank him for the free money she got out of him.

Read Regal’s statement after he was released by WWE, if you wanna see the pinnacle of a beautiful comment thanking his former employer for everything they did, and not talking shit. Was so refreshing to finally see someone not bitch about Nick Khan, and just say thanks for everything you’ve done for me, wwe, and I appreciate the last 21 years, you helped save my life. I will always be thankful for everything they did for me. Outside of Bryan Danielson, no one in the entire professional wrestling business is as great a person as, William Regal. I hate wwe releasing all these wrestlers and other on-screen personas, like everyone else, but at least some of the people let go, don’t immediately start talking shit about every member of wwe’s front office. Just because Nick Khan, Bruce Pritchard, and Johnny Ace suck at recognizing great talent, doesn’t mean all members of wwe creative are complete idiots. Get rid of Nick Khan, Bruce, Johnny Ace, and force Vince to go to a retirement home, and give up all his shares to Shane, Stephanie, and HHH. WWE would actually be competing with AEW right now, as far as product quality goes, at least.

As a black man I cant stand when people have a personal issue and try to make it a race thing like we should all back them up. Nothing against Swole but after her dance intro fans seem to lose interest. Jade has something going and is improving and you can see the confidence when she speaks. Kiera Hogan has improved so much since her Impact debut years ago she can hold her own. Red Velvet is also getting there. Its just people who are more interesting than her. I thought during that tag tournament Lil Swole Nicole Savoy was the one they would keep around. Seems like Swole is just upset with lack of TV time.
