Ka-Bar is an American company that has withstood the test of time again and again. I have a multitude of Ka-Bar knives, and they are by far some of the toughest and highest quality knives on the market. I absolutely love the knives and cutlery that Ka-Bar produces! I hope Ka-Bar's legacy continues for future generations to come, as it has since its foundation.🇺🇸

I've had a Kabar and added to my collection since I went into the Military back in 1982. I don't have enough and I've got 9. LOL I'll get more when I can. I see them as Heirlooms for my family eventually, except for one. My first one. It'll stay with me.

I inherited my grandfather's Union Cutlery KA-BAR shortly before he passed many years ago. You can't buy the family history and stories that comes with so many of our knives. Thanks for including us in your story.

My Grandfather fought in WWII for Poland. He used to tell me stories of how they would trade whatever they could to get the "Amerikanski Knife" He loved the brand, and instilled that passion in me.

In the previous installment of the documentary, which covered our first 120 years, there is some warts which in retrospect can be hard to be proud of. We think it is important to share the full story to help appreciate what 125 years really looks like, blemishes included.

I'm a Marine Corps Veteran (84-88) & I found my first USMC Ka-Bar on the beach of a Spanish military base (forget the name) where we were doing joint training with the Spanish Army. It must have dropped from the sheath of the previous unit who trained there 6 months before. It was covered in rust & I came close to passing it up but thankfully I didn't. It cleaned up remarkably, with only two small pits in the blade which didn't affect the edge that sharpened up nicely. I liked it so much that I bought a brand new one as soon as we got back to Camp Lejeaune. It cost me a whole $32 at the base PX. I've bought several more over the years, as I like to give them out as Christmas presents to family or friends.

Ka-Bar knives are always talked about. I actually went to Tennessee to buy my first. Now I own 12 Ka-Bar knives. Best knives ever made.

I have 3 weapons I carry regularly. My FOX 1.4 and my kubotan and my KA-BAR. If I am only allowed to use one and can only fully put my confidence in one weapon I would choose the KA-BAR. My kubotan can be used to stab but it won't impale and I also don't have to worry about the wind factor when it comes to my FOX 1.4. Personally, I believe mail carriers and delivery drivers should all carry KA-BARs with them for protection against vicious dogs. Pepper spray might not stop an attack from a Rottweiler or pit bull but a KA-BAR will!

My wife got me the usn straight blade knife and I find myself using it almost daily. I've had several other brands over the last 45+ years and never been that impressed as I am with the ka-bar and now this video is a reminder that I need to get off my ass and get folding one to keep in my pocket.

Now I realize the KA-BAR knife I'm holding in my hand (1271 Fighter) is not just a knife, but a piece of American craftsmanship and heritage, and above all else, literally a cluster of sweat, blood and tears of so many dedicated workers over the last 125 years. It's also humbling to learn that the company CEO Mr. Stitt started his career at KA-BAR as a very young man. With all that said, I'm both proud and honored to have this gem in my possession. P.S. Just curious. What year did KA-BAR release 1271 Fighter? It's my #1 favorite knife by KA-BAR, and it's also a must to know about the origin of this battle blade.

It is made in the USA with raw German steel
@cannabislife1688 Жыл бұрын
Did Ka-bar start using German steel more recently and that is why they no longer stamp “ USA “ into the knife or has this always been the case ? I’m only curious, I love your knives either way and will continue to be a customer.
