Some only had a few years where they released music, but you'll find that in all genres. The ones genuinely passionate about making and releasing music will keep at it. Mark my word, one day we will be streaming music from rappers in their 70's and 80's.

I appreciate taking the mental journey through this brothers lyrics and thought process, when he spit that rappers dont know what to do do do line I laughed cause its fun when you follow along and actually listen and appraisals the writers penmanship and intellect . These new lyrics take these kids down a totally different path, I think about the young brothers in chicago calling each other opps, as if they only shooting the black op call of duty characters they were entrained or drilled by psychic driving via the music to kill, while high on mind altering substances, totally different mind frame and entrainment going on there.

When I hear that a "rapper" doesn't or hasn't listened to the OGs I just cannot take them seriously. KRS pushing 60 and is still spittin straight FIRE. Inspirational. Saw him perform a few years ago in Portland, ME of all places and it was a mind-altering experience. Most other hip-hop just seems watered down after you see the Blast Mastah spit his bars LIVE. He was yelling at the sound guy to TURN UP THE BASS. He said he wouldn't start until it was loud enough. The sound guy looked like a deer in the headlights. Top 5 shows of my life and I stood 5 ft. from the man when he spit it. GOAT!
