@@234thc Standard RS3's dont have 700hp and the engine and transmission are designed to cope with the power they do have. Any muppet with a small amount of knowledge can boost an engine to stupid hp, but making the drivetrain last is a lot harder.

Hey Jamie. I got a similar built in a 2008 auditt. I think your gearing is what slowing you down. I have change the 2 output shaft and the diff gear with one of a 2012 jetta tdi with the VR6 gear. That way you will have more boost load per gear. Anyway keep doing your thing great work .

@@dlg78 the fact is it’s right there with them for much less money is what makes it great. Imagine if he spent the value of a r8 or sto on a a3 3.2 they wouldn’t be nowhere near. The a3 is only lacking abit on the gearing I believe because super cars have gearing for speed that’s why even a 500hp car can do 200mph but guys with 700 can’t go over 180mph. Once the gearing is right and a little more power they will be left in the shadows
