Love hatchbacks like the Fiesta ST, Focus ST, GTI, etc. because they’re proper sleeper cars. Nobody expects them to be as fast as they are. Sadly, people are starting to realize this now, and are weary of the race haha.

Mines has pulled on a stage 2 Collins but a stage 2 laird pulled on me about 1/1.5 car lengths, so not that much of a difference for the money between the 2

This has been a great decider for me. Own my 17plate 220bhp in a year still stand about 8/9k spend about 15k to get 350bhp? But it wheel spins now in 1st and 2nd as fwd. Or just trade car in and put 15k down and get a 360/380bhp 16/17 plate a45 amg that can do under 5secs. Its a no brainer after this. Its the a45 amg all day long. Great video for me.

So when it's dry you'll be ok against the RS3, but in the wet you were always done for! Mental car though, and a way cheaper way of going very fast than the Audi. 👍

A lot of people look down on the fiesta (VAG and BMW owners mainly) thanks to the chavs that drive around in them. But actual enthusiasts like me have realised that set up properly a fiesta will take down cars that are (new) £30K £40K. Considering you can pick one up for under £6K now they are very affordable and for under £10K all in with mostly used parts you can have 350 horsepower easy. Shame the runway was damp. You'd find if dry you would of pulled in second gear against the rs3. Third gear your not in the power band.

Sounds like you’re way out of the power band when changing into 3rd gear! This is really hurting your trap speed! To benefit from this narrow power band you need to be installing a custom set of gear ratios! Start with a longer 1st as it just spins anyway, longer 2nd to compliment 1st and after that you should enter 3rd much higher. 3rd to 4th sounds right! A longer 2nd would set you up nicely for roll races
