I’m not impressed by much these days, but this I love it. It’s literally stealth. No ridiculous turbo sounds or waste gate flutter just a faint hum from the v8. It’s unreal. I think it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a hot vee setup converted to single turbo.

Theres actually a german company called Klasen that have done the same thing but on an RS6. The power is similar and the build actually gets the german Tüv approval which is insane! Sick build and love the S8 shape!

Great content as always Jamie. I took my hybrid turbo Audi S1 to Mo for tuning and I'm thrilled with the result, totally transformed the car. Down to earth guy who knows what he's doing and is always willing to help. I remember seeing the S8 in the air with the broken diff when I was in so it's good to see it all back to life and everything going good! What a monster.

Kids have an odd perception of speed. I have an A8L (still stock) with the 4.0TT and my 4 year old son thinks my 2006 sprinter van is faster simply because it is louder. On hard accel in the A8 he mostly babbles about something from daycare or what show he wants to watch later. In the slow ass van he gets super exited and tells me how fast it is 🤣

Won’t happen. The S8 will snap it’s drive shaft at the first launch. They are known for snapping with just a Stage 1.

Dudes on point for sure I don’t think anyone is doing this to Audi S8s, but people have been single turbo’ing rs6’s in North America since release in 2020 so definitely not right about being the first to do this to this style engine

I can only assume that the trans is the same internals as the Dodge hellcats, which means there's definitely upgrades for them. Shafts are always possible to upgrade, but can be quite expensive if the ends don't match a volume-production setup. But machine shops can machine the prop shafts to adapt to any aftermarket CV. Hence why $$$$. Rear diff is probably the hardest part. But if it's shared with RS6/7 it's only a matter of time until there's one available.

I first learned of an Audi s8 from the movie Ronin with one the best car chases ever .
