REACTING to League of Legends Cinematic - A NEW DAWN

This is one of my favourite cinematics. It depicts an actual match. I don't know how much you guys understand of the game, so I'll say it either way. A traditional match is 5v5 with 5 specific roles/positions. In this video: Top Lane: Jax vs Darius Jungle: Rengar vs Nautillus Mid Lane: Ahri vs Katarina Bottom Lane: Graves vs Draven Support: Leona vs Zyra Some of these champions have been reassigned to other lanes due to changes in the game or the characters themselves. Graves is nowadays a jungler and Nautillus is a support, for example. Also kind of an interesting fact: Leona and Graves were the best duo in the game for a long time. And for anyone who didn't understand what happened at 1:34: Ahri has a charming ability. She can make enemies walk towards her for a brief moment. At that moment, after realizing Leona was still alive, Ahri charms Darius and Draven so they would follow her before noticing it themselves. Ahri running around is very close to what she does in game, as well, she has high mobility and moves around all the time trying to pick someone out of position. Darius is also very much alike ingame. He is insanely strong 1v1 and will crush enemies that are left alone with him. But he is slow and short ranged, so he struggles in team fights. Multiple people ganging up on him in order to kill him is exactly what a team must do to win the fight.

@@OfficialMediaKnights Actually, if you play League of Legends, then you'll notice that they fight using their habilities set. The jump that breaks Leona's shield is Darius ulti, but she survived cause is the supp, same as the nautilus, and so many others

I have never played League of Legends before. Acane was my first intro to that universe, but after the show, i binged watched all the cinematics, lol. They are amazing!

"Tales of Runeterra" is a great little series. They take you to a bunch of different territories and give you a quick flavour of the world design. Can't recommend it enough... Also "Annie Origins" is probably the best short story out of any cinematic, and the animation is inspired... Honorable mention to "The Curse of the Sad Mummy" just because I'm a Tim Burton fan, and the song is great!

One of the things this video really sells you on is the weight of the hits in the animation. Best example is how both of you visibly winced when Leona (Sun lady with shield) was knocked back by Darius' (Guy with the axe still fighting at the end) axe.

Actually Darius is fckin MVP - He took down Jax, Leona and he KOed Rengar by 2 punches. Nobody is able to beat him until they are 3v1 :)
