I love the look on the FBI agent's face when Raylan turned over the situation and exits the bank. They'd never seen nothing like that. They were still evaluating what they just saw and how they felt about it.

Winona and Raylan had incredible chemistry. When they bickered, it felt like a real couple. Anyone who thinks Winona is anything less than realistic is expecting her to blindly support Raylan. Even he knows he's a tough guy to be with, and he ONLY wanted to be with Winona.

Season 2 is my favorite. I miss this show so much. I hope they bring it back and for the love of god please have Raylan and Winona back together. The spark and banters in these scenes with the two of them was missing in City Primeval and Winona is a top tier smokeshow.

I never saw a tv series where the secondary characters were as well written and well acted as Justified. Dewey Crowe, Dickie Bennet, Mags, Arlo, Rachel and Tim. Brilliant. The only negative was Michael Rappaport. He ruined every scene he was in. Totally unbelievable, horrible actor.
@amrateeka3 ай бұрын
Rapapport was the worst thing to ever happen to Justified
@cwavt88493 ай бұрын
100% agree. I have searched for anything half as good. Some have good writing, but so much profanity that there is little time left for plot development. Most have no humor. Justified was a comedy posing as a modern Western. Few shows understand that the comedy Carry's thee plots and characters From having bank robbers the size of busses to Danny Crow fall in his dog's grave and impale himself on his own knife .. this show had me laughing and guessing all the way to the last scene
@tjbatur2 ай бұрын
So many good characters. Only ones I thought were poorly acted were Daryl Crowe Jr and Ava. I didn't think Rachel and Tim were really that great. People give them way more credit than due since they are in a total of 6 scenes across 6 seasons. Neither actor is that good and if we had more of them, I bet people wouldn't love them as much. I love Arlo, Art, Winona, Dewey, Devil, most of Boyd's crew in later seasons, all the Bennetts, and almost every villain especially all the new ones in Season 6.
@DianaWhite-t2iАй бұрын
I agree about Rachel. Whether she was holding a gun on someone or when she was talking about her dead sister; her expression and voice never changed. It was unnerving.
@BillyBobBurkham23 күн бұрын
Mostly all of new actors in Season 5 were bad but Rappaport was awful on another level. Agree with the other comment that Ava wasn't great either. The way the show insisted that Ava was so hot over and over and they cast an extremely forgettable, borderline unattractive actress (who gets progressively worse each season) was weird. I thought Rachel was very bland acting wise but I liked her dynamic with Raylan. Rest of cast were great.

I'm from Kentucky and there are a few nitpicky things that get to me. The driving scenes for one. There are very few roads outside of our major cities that are straight for any length, so having the actors barely move the wheel is so inaccurate. You would drive right off a mountain never to be found. Also Raylan driving from Lexington to Harlan County 2 or 3 times a day makes no sense, it's a 3 hour drive, he would accomplish nothing. As I said small things, but the devil's in the details.😂

Winona was terrible. Based on the later seasons atleast. Ava was a much better pairing, initially, until they messed her up with nonesensical behaviors with Boyd. And the ending between Raylan and Winona was terrible after going through all that drama. Felt like they wanted a surprise ending instead of putting in the work to build upto something. I am not always for a happy ending but to build up to something and just show a wildly different ending in the very last few episoded shows bad writing. Even sad endings can and have been done well. Watching a story is an investment and need a payoff. Either they had no clear direction, or ended a series sooner than previously planned. Or the writers thought it was a legitimate good move to just have random twist ending for the sake of it.
@BillyBobBurkham23 күн бұрын
Ava and Raylan together was not only terrible but unrealistic. She was an uneducated and unambitious and glommed on to Raylan like he was her savior. She wasn't even physically attractive enough to convince viewers that she could be the prize of Harlan. Raylan didn't want to be with her and I'm glad the show was very upfront about that. The entire relationship and dynamic between Raylan and Winona made sense. You must not have paid attention because the ending wasn't at all surprising. They literally ended in the most realistic and justified (ha) place possible. Two people who still very clearly are in love with each other but can't make it work. They will always be stuck in some version of that dance. That's an earned and satisfying ending.

Dude is a self-destructive machine, it's literally one of the reasons that Art is ALWAYS yelling at him. It's not a flaw in the show, it's a flaw in your ability to rationalize that people are complicated and no one is going to know Raylan better than his ex-wife who has to balance her immense attraction and love for the man with the reality that he is deeply stubborn and lets his anger get the best of him.
