I think why the movie wasn't acknowledged much is because of the Goblin story. If they ended it at electro it would've been the perfect fight and satisfying for the audience too....because electro was so cold and his theme music gives goosebumps. We can say they wasted Andrew's spiderman by choosing the wrong story.

Honestly.. Modern day Marvel has nothing on this. THIS is Spider-Man. At least, this is *MY* Spider-Man. The web-swinging, the movement, the visuals, the personality/attitude. You name it.. I’ve said it before in Instagram Reels/Videos, but the TASM movies are the most source material accurate Spider-Man on the big screen that we’ve been given. She died because of her own stupidity, naively believing it's a good idea to risk her life by intruding in the battle just because she wanted to "help". I think the main reason we didn't see an Amazing Spider-Man 3 is simply because of the bad feedback that this movie received either that or Andrew Garfield just didn't feel like doing a third movie whatever the reason might be it's still a shame that we didn't get to see a third Amazing Spider-Man movie because I think Venom would have been a definite shoe-in for the third movie we could have also seen black cat make an appearance as well as seeing Spider-Man in his black symbiote suit
