Even if his powers were real, all he did was shoot lasers and fly into a giant monster. That wouldn’t work against Strange because he’d have a range of spells to defend against those attacks. Strange went toe to toe with a 4 stoned Thanos, he’s too powerful for any other sorcerer.

I didn’t notice until now but at 4:18 you can see Mysterios green beams (drone bullets) were aimed at nick fury car, and you see the bullets hit the windshield. Small detail but mysterio tried to kill fury right then and there.

During both water monster and fire monster attacks, Peter's priority was always saving the civilians. He was the one who held the tower from falling during the water monster attack, and he held the ferris wheel during the fire monster attack. But people, including skrull Nick Fury, only cared for who defeated the monster

This movie was really good but Quentin Beck's supervillain monologue/celebration toast ruined their good streak. You can see little hints of his tricks before then, e.g. the bullet cracks on the windshield that looks nothing like the impact of energy blasts. The movie might've worked better if they just cut away with every background character frozen in place and Quentin grinning slyly.

His parents and his uncle Ben died. He only had Tony and May as a parental figure. Just like in Tobeys Spiderman one it was about coming to understand his uncle bens last words, this movie is about understanding that Spider-Man won’t be the next Iron man, because he’s already Spider-Man.
