I played the odor bit at least a dozen times straight and laughed just as hard each time. His body language was a huge part of his delivery and equally funny as his lines. Another Pryor bit that doubles me over with laughter, even without video, is when he spoofs “The Exorcist” and walks into his daughter’s room and says, “Bitch, what’s wrong wit ya?” Everything before and after that is also hysterical. He was a comedic genius at the highest level. I still say that nobody can touch him.

@jimestrela4 ай бұрын
Sorry to correct you but Richie never played an acting part in the movie Blazing Sadles. The reason: "Pryor was Brooks' original choice to play Sheriff Bart, but the studio, claiming his history of drug arrests made him uninsurable, refused to approve financing with Pryor as the star. The role of Sheriff Bart went to Cleavon Little, and Pryor remained as a screenwriter instead."

In 1979, After touring Kenya’s national museum, Pryor sat in a hotel lobby and he said a voice in his head told him to look around and tell me what you see. He said, he told the voice, “I see all colors of people doing everything.” And the the voice asked, “Do you see any n___rs?” And Pryor responded, “No.” And the voice responded saying, “Because they aren’t any.” Pryor went on to describe that he started crying and said “I was wrong. I ain’t gonna never call another Black Man a (n-word) ever again.”
