I’ve noticed something that’s changed my views on Price. Since the World Final, this is the second time I’ve seen Price play Littler and both times, he has refrained from his usual cheat puffing and shouting when he hits a big check out or a 180. I think Price is showing Littler an awful lot of respect. Hats off to him for that. For Littler though, the future is remarkably bright. He’s a sensation and one that all the top players will fear as time goes by!

WHAT A FINAL. Such fantastic entertaining darts and so easy on the eye. Luke Littler is the best thing to happen to darts coz everyone knows to beat him they gotta produce a very high level and that gives us brilliant entertainment. MVG played his best match of the tournament in the final and he had to coz Littler averaged almost 107. It was solid holds after holds from both until Luke got his chance but couldnt take it and then the last leg he narrowly missed the Big Fish before MVG clinched it. The respect they showed for each other at the end was awesome to see. Now we have Littler vs Humphries at 1-1 and Littler vs MVG at 1-1 as well and future matchups between these guys in the PL will be so good to watch. Cant wait for Cardiff already to see Luke vs Luke part 3 and i know were gonna get some ridiculous averages in these fast pace matches.

You can score all you want you miss your doubles you lose. He is a good player but he hasn’t done anything new on a dart board. He can’t hit a 8 darter in a game of 501.

Phil Taylor started at age 27. It is completely possible Littler could be the GOAT. But the GOAT can mean slightly different things when comparing different generations. If you use the metric of 180s, 9 dart outs and total championships he could definitely surpass Taylor.

Congratulations Michael van Gerwin , when it mattered he hit the right numbers , loved Luke littlers reaction enjoying the game and v respectful in defeat , he had the crowd against him too but he shook it all off and played high quality darts it was a brilliant final have to mention earlier how Van gerwin had to hit that bulls eye to beat Raymond ( felt for him ) but he hit it when it mattered. With also Luke Humpries around and gerwyn price back along with the Michael smith etc darts is the winner !
