I’ve noticed similarities in pentagon’s title tracks 1. Korean wordplay (daisy represents the flower daisy and sounds similar to a korean word that means burn) 2. Toxic relationships. (I think that’s pretty self explanatory) 3. Rebellion/resistance (Basquiat is in resistance of prejudice, naughty boy is about resisting the expectations from society and the older generations) 4. Growth (the lyrics change from “I hope you’re never happy” to “please be happy”) 5. Visually dark and intense music videos but meaningful lyrics and styling In conclusion, pentagon best and most creative (self-producing) idol group edit: they're also really good with showing heartbreak and nailing the nostalgia/bittersweet factor. naughty boy sounds so happy but a lot of people have said they feel kind of sad after listening to it. daisy's a really bright, energetic song but it's about heartbreak and a bad relationship. even sha la la is a party kind of song but there's a hovering feeling of sadness SOMEHOW. also, good job unis and non-unis who helped stream- we got the first win!

Daisies in flower language mostly means “purity” and “innocence”, which is ironic considering the topic of the song which is lies of love, but another meaning to daisies are “transformations” and “new beginnings.” This is a hopeful start to a new beginning for both PTG and Universe, one of happiness and to a true self, regardless of whether they get music show wins. That be said however... what our boys have been doing for a long time deserves at least a little bit of something for their hard work. So let’s persevere for them!! The one before his long hiatus, he attended a singing competition in China and went to the hospital multiple times. He contacted cube and got no reply in December when he feel he is good to comeback. Cube might be negligent because of change in management during that time. And apparently there was internal issue with regards to a change of a chinese company to another chines company(from fan speculation) after the new Chinese company took charge, Yanan seemed to be allowed to come back and they tried to shift management direction. Or perhaps cube was just waiting for his health clearance since they don't want him to join for a short comeback and become sick again which explains their statement regarding yanan in Feb. I dont think yanan would be able to handle rtk schedules and stress seeing how he went through pentagon maker eliminated and then visibly shaking in China singing competition. He was then announced to be starring in a drama in China to perhaps see if he can handle it and improve his confidence as a part of the group. And now he joins the comeback. Hopefully he continues to stay healthy

I’m just a casual fan of Pentagon, but this song genuinely has the potential to become one of my favorite kpop songs of all time. It’s that breathtaking. If you guys are barely discovering kpop or if you're looking into stanning new groups, Pentagon is that group that you will end up falling in love with. All members are incredibly unique and extremely talented, they produce their own music and make their own choreos. Also UNIVERSE are the kindest (and most spoiled) fandom I could have ever been a part of. I love it here and I can assure you stanning Pentagon will be the best decision you could ever make. @@varonicag3420 You should watch their Changgu (YeoOne) birthday live. You can find it on KZbin and it's a pretty great intro to Pentagon. Their Shine + Spring Snow performance from Road to Kingdom is beautiful~ I'd recommend watching that as well. For songs, a few starters are: Dr. Bebe (and honestly the whole Black Hall album) Summer Smile Round 1 and Round 2 (two songs of the same series. very funny) Off Road Happiness (Japanese track) Spring Snow (personal favorite since I first heard it a year ago) Critical Beauty Alien Sha La La You Like (and all the songs from this mini album) and so many more XD
