Also, I think there is a certain comfort in knowing that there is an order of strength and rules being adhered to, even if it is a treacherous endeavor. The more of these stories I hear from Sammy, the more I imagine a great hbo or netflix series based on his life. Each chapter of his story had a pretty clear beginning, middle, and end. The end of each being a solid piece of drama that advances the plot of the story forward and explains it's piece of what made this man who he was becoming and is. Amazing characters, engaging subplots, and more mafia nostalgia and wisdom than most people are ready for but really want. Because at the end of the day we are hearing the story of a guy who is not pretending to be apologetic. That makes his narrative very real and very powerful. It is sincere. Whatever else it was or is, "The American Mafia" is a cultural institution and important piece of our history as a Nation and a People. And Sammy and his story, I think, can really shed a light on that in a way that I think is informative and unique. Would love to see it. Multiple seasons. The first can be all just youth and the Rampers. Would be an absolute smash hit.

It’s interesting that even at that young age, the boys in his gang knew Sammy was boss/leader material. Watching these videos you can understand why. Seems like Sammy can separate his emotions from his decision making. Doesn’t mean he’s not ruthless. Just means he’s smart when it comes to dealing with street guys.

A lot of this stuff would make great movies...when it all comes down off KZbin, and the audio comes out overlaid on Netflix specials made with paid Hollywood actors...we'll know they took your advice and it happened

Mr. Gravano can tell a story like very very few. You know it's real, truth & told with heart. STILL terrifying though. Blessings ever from Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Get the fuck. Your from Belfast and find these stories terrifying? You must be South Belfast. Come up to West, North or East and the sick shit that went on here would make Sammy sick.

@@bigpete111100 not much longer. The "real" brits threw the DUP and unionism under the bus for brexit. Ireland will be united within 10 years.

These are great stories. I read Underboss on a flight and layover in Chicago 20 years ago. You're still as sharp as a tack at 76.
