I watched this on the day that pastor Stephen interviewed Bishop Jakes. To avoid missing it, I set an alarm! Today, I watched it again and it blessed me just as much as it did the first time. When I watched it the first time, I had just returned to college. I began a program that was rigorous as a non traditional student with a husband, kids, and a small business + part-time job. Two weeks ago, I received a Master’s degree in that program. I wanted to quit a thousand times, but I kept going. God has already opened a door for me. I was hired as an SLP at a local school. My externship supervisor loved me, my rapport building with the kids, and my hard work. She advocated for me and got me an interview without an application. I’ve been crushed. I’ve lived a life of obscurity and felt that I was often being overlooked. God was developing me! I’m immensely grateful and praise to Him will forever be on my lips….♥️…..time to SOAR!!!!!

God loves everyone he’s not concerned about how we look how we smell shame on both of you. This is what turns away people from the gospel. Jesus is love he came for the leopard, the bloody smelly woman, the person who couldn’t move because they are heart stricken. God sees the shape of our hearts, not our capacities our outwardly shapes, He equips us.

the beauty behind this is that the Jews were to consider these birds unclean or unwanted and thus not to be eaten under any circumstances. Once God declared the ravens unclean, no Jew would have anything to do with them. They were not to be eaten under any circumstances. And given their scavenging nature, that prohibition was actually a blessing to the Jews. And that brings us back to the story of Elijah. When the Lord told him to go and hide himself by the brook Cherith on the east side of the Jordan, he also promised send ravens to feed him. I have no doubt that the prophet was not exactly thrilled with that promise. It’s hard enough to have to hide yourself in a desolate region. Far worse was the news that he would be fed twice a day by unclean birds. The whole thing was unusual because ravens normally care only for their own. Under no circumstances would they bring food to a man, much less do it twice a day. ...and that is the magic behind that statement to reinstate that blessings don't always come from where you want them to come from. god bless

The current Christianity has missed its mission! You see? Reject the prophet of your time and do whatever you want, put the photograph of Jesus, Peter, Mary, Mary of Magdala in your living room, hang crosses on the wall… but you are an impostor! In the eyes of God, you are only a madman! God sees you as one sees a madman, with worthless bags and luggage! Islam, Christianity and Judaism are the three great manifestations of Satan on the earth. They are the three spirit of frogs in Revelation 16:13.These three religions claim to be of Abraham. These three religions believe in Moses. These three religions do not believe in living prophets but each claims to be of a prophet that it did not know. Each of them has its own holy book. And all three are waiting for the Messiah. They are the three spirits of frog of Revelation 16:13. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"].

Word says we can't be a Christian if we don't study the Bible daily . Our spiritual life dies daily just like our body would if we did not eat physical food . We have to eat the word daily . Doesn't have to be a whole chapter but at least study one verse for a whole week . To get the full effect for it . Word says to study to show their self approved only way to do that is to read the Bible daily .

😑 There's no room for Jesus in this church. It's dead as a door knob. The Holy Spirit doesn't visit there. It's filled with the spirit of antichrist (greed, pride, lust...). 😉 Mind you, it's all disguised as christianish culture. They're not fooling God or demons. The prosperity gospel they preach is pure heresy and as far removed from the Lord as the east is from the west. It cheapens the Holiness of God and grieves the Holy Spirit.
@sageforce93065 жыл бұрын
@@karinecarde1254 some people in these churches are dead and lost which is sad as the pastors only care about this life. Jesus died to get us to heaven and not to have us cling this world. The Bible says that in the last days people would gather around them preachers who tickle their ears.

His story of the little lady at the conference is similar to mine. If it had not been for TD Jakes on TV from 1998ish to 2002 I would have killed myself after a bipolar diagnosis. It was his ministry that straightened me out and set me on a path of faith . I am so grateful for his ministry and all those who minister to him!

It was such a blessing to be in the presence of so much wisdom. This interview changed the trajectory of my life. I am so glad to call Elevation home. Thank you, Bishop Jakes for your words of encouragement. Thank you, Pastor Steven, for preaching the Word with conviction and leading us to see what God can do through us. I will NEVER forget this night!

Careful. Make sure to test all things in light of Scripture first. Hold fast to the good (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Discard the rest.

The depth of this video is way beyond what the natural eyes can see or the natural ears can hear. Bishop Jakes and Pastor Steven, you pulled out my inner man! I’m sure it’s not just me, but I’ve found my daily routine! Have a blessed life!

I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years since this interview first was uploaded. I remember watching it back in 2017, the year the interview took place. What stood out the most then is the same thing that stands out the most even now. Its when Jakes said to his son, “If it’s not the thing, it’ll be the thing that leads to the thing”. That has stuck with me so much since I first heard it. It is so true though. When the Bible says, “All things work together”, it means just that, ALL things.

@@elisabethjoy4737 It seems that he meant people can get blessed through relationships even though folks may have different cultures beliefs etc. a person can never know who might bless them. In this example: "The ravens are the ones who helped Elijah according to scriptures. (although they had different habits.)

Something is missing from this. He mentions Christ a few times, but doesn't say how to have a relationship with Christ...who should be the foundation for vision. You don't want a vision, you want a GODLY vision. And you need a relationship with Christ to have one. Any endeavor you do better be based through Christ, not through your own flesh and mind. Deny self and put Christ first and Godly vision with success will come. Seek first the kingdom....
