Honestly all you need is just a sink in the staff Canteen and a cook will come along and wash them there and then. They dont actually cook anything for the staff anyway lol. It would actually be a better idea to combine the two and expand the canteen

In any other prison I'd suggest making that solid block in visitation into a glass-walled square, demolishing the foundations in the middle, laying down some grass & a few plants and making a nice terrarium. So of course the only time this comes up has to end up being in a brutalist concrete box build. I'd still hollow it out on the visitor side and stick in a couch or some vending machines or something even if only for aesthetics.

Thinking ahead this is going to be the shortest extreme testing initiative ever with all the prisoners escaping before the first guards arrive 😂

Maybe instead of the concrete wall in visitation, I'd consider putting in a visitor reception room, for half of the space. The other side I'd leave it open for prisoners.

I know that I said it allready but you will have a lot of tunnel problems. You need a lot of dogs or toiletts on the probable tunnel routes.

it should be fine, a long time ago I ran a challenge where people could only use dormitories and they had to have at least 1000 prisoners in their prisons. The way I did it was by just having daily shakedowns. A lot of time 'wasted' by the guards but it also cut down on tunneling and meant that I only had a few escapes whilst only having a chain fence instead of a perimeter wall.

Id hollow out that visitation blob and add a drink/vending/coffee machines, water cooler and a phone if it fits. Make the walls a C basically.

The yard needs toilets. I also like to put them in the canteen too, and any other work buildings where people are assigned. Illl usually double them as showers too. Water fountains are often overlooked. drink fountains are cooler than water coolers cause they take plumbing and are more lore friendly for prisoners.

Think there's a food vending machine staff can have, not a hundred percent sure though, if so its in the breakroom items.... You'll definitely need more than three washing machines for 160 prison jumpsuits. Good luck on the dog army! ❤

@@SaharaW1407 It'd be pretty unpleasant to take one's morning shower whilst straddling the toilet. Then again, criminals are supposed to have a bad time in prison.
