A very cheap and quick fix used by Many, is to get Nail Polish matched to your paints. They used to sell empty bottles with the brush lid that you could put your paint in too. Last minute touch-ups before shows.

Fact: The sprinkler heads in the paint booth, should have bags over them. This is to protect them from paint build-up. (they don't work with paint on them) The bags should be replaced before paint build-up. I used paper bags, or Cellophane, however, is constructed from plant-based material (organic cellulose, aka plant fibers) and is biodegradable
@BullittOutdoorsАй бұрын
Surprised the fire department hasn’t caught that on inspection. We are inspected once a year and have paper bags over our sprinkler heads as well
@bryduhbikeguyАй бұрын
Great idea.Never noticed them in there.Paper will burn and open the sprinklers where plastic could melt and glue them closed.

I agree with the bolts, black would look better.
@pseudocoder78Ай бұрын
Demri, I believe those looked like grade 8 bolts with zinc electroplating... might be wrong about the grade on them but the coating is described this way by some AI results: Grade 8 bolts are usually coated in yellow zinc to protect against corrosion. Other coatings that may be used on Grade 8 bolts include black oxide or Zinc-Yellow CR+6, which offers more corrosion protection than standard zinc plating or black oxide.

You can touch up some powder coats with a heat gun. You have to heat up area to be touched up first then dust the powder over the spot needing touched up and heat it a bit more carefully to finish melting the powder and then let cool slowly.
