Best live band in the world and the greatest rock/metal show on the road in these days. The reasons why Rammstein don't move on stage: 1. Standing still exudes dominance. Not like all the other preschooler-bands jumping around like idiots, aside from that Flake runs enough on his treadmill (7 km per show) 2. Because of all the pyro all over the stage 3. Because all Rammstein members are nearly 60 and it's hot on stage.....very hot, lacking the oxygen needed for the pyro an fire 4. Because Till occasionally hides flamethrowers

@@mordante01 Reise, Reise is considered to be their 2 best album. But I think they're not so tough anymore. They changed the style a bit, but we think you can not do the same thing for over 20 years. 😂

Yeah those wings are heavy, they weigh over 100lbs. Definitely keep checking out their live stuff, but their recent videos are also phenomenal, Deutschland is a masterpiece.

"Rammstein" has composed and played a lot of very good songs, always very original....but here they have reached an artistic peak !!! Always translating their songs, most of the time they have a lot of meaning that sticks to their music,.... and in this case a deep meaning!

I have been a follower for 25 years. It is great that they are moving into main stream They have lots of great songs to check out. People are sick of Du Hast Paris Live reactions but as it is iconic, you should get it done eventually. The hype is well worth it. I was noticing that you are lacking Epica (Netherlands) another famous metal band. You should check them out. 🎶🤘🎸🤘🎶 Great reaction guys. Thanks for another great reaction guys! Rammstein is one of the few bands that makes music videos as artistic as their stage shows. For live suggestions I recommend "Ich Tu Dir Weh" from this same show at Madison Square Garden and "Du Hast" from Paris. For music videos you have got to check out ""Deutschland", "Radio", "Auslander", "Ziet" and "Adieu". "Deutschland" and "Adieu" are especially cinematic! Can't wait to see more Rammstein and The Warning reactions from you guys! Also since you're both musicians, I for one, wouldn't mind a little more analysis on what's going on musically that captures your ears, I love seeing first reactions but also like to hear stuff pointed out by knowledgeable people that I may not have picked up on. Keep it up guys! You're one of my favorite reaction channels!

Deutschland, Ziet,Adieu the hate was from certain images in a few videos particularly Deutschland. Unreservedly so to point. If you want live reaction ideas the Moscow stadium tour and Helfest videos are awesome.

Good react. Yes that thing is heavy, Some folks don't get it. They a friendly bunch, the Lyrics don't always translate well sometimes, but there is parody, satire and comedy in there. If you up front you will get hot, but safe. Till (singer) is a qualified pyro tech, knows how to keep stage safe. They look greasy sometimes, fireproof gel. Industrial, goth, symphonic metal fan.

Rammstein profit from the controversies and in order for them to remain controversial, the comments turn of. Those who describe Rammstein as controversial have never really dealt with them. At some point they read an article in some newspaper, written by someone who saw in the songs what he wanted to see and accepted this point of view. But it had less to do with truth and much more to do with quotas. Scandals sell, but the truth is twisted as needed. We all know how this works. I agree with you completely. It seems as if everyone is copying from each other, except the Sueddeutsche Zeitung. Recently, a classical musician said that the press simply has to recognize that Rammstein makes art. A bit late after almost 30 years. 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉

I recommend you look at one of the live concerts from the 2023 North America tour, I went to the Montreal concert and it was CRAZY, fire above the crowd in multiple flame towers with crazy pyrotechnics!

There is a double feature footage of their 2016 performance during Wacken Open Air, Europe's biggest metal festival. The songs are "The bard's song" and "Valhalla" - you will not be disappointed

Rammstein always have awesome videos, but live shows are even beyond these. Here are some suggestions: "Sonne" (Live at Download Festival 2016) --> Hot as the name giving sun (Sonne = Sun) "Ich tu Dir weh" (Hurricane Festival / Rammstein Official) --> Great singing and insane stage action towards the end) "Mein Teil" (Live Hurricane Festival 2013) --> Read the story behind the song (a real case of cannibalism!) first „Willst Du das Bett in Flammen Sehn" (Paris Version) --> Pyro Fashion, power, everything that Rammstein stands for "Benzin" (Madison Square Garden) --> Benzin = Gasoline --> burns well. And maybe also a man? There are of course a lot more insane live videos of them: "Links 2,3,4", "Mutter", "Feuer Frei", "Ich will", ... Have fun and rock on! Paris is more a concert movie with post production and released as Directors Cut“. You have to be aware that here a German band is playing in Paris / New York and the French / American audience is singing along in German. Music can unite! :-) From their current album there are no official live videos so far. There are five videos out: „Zeit“ (time) „Angst“ (Fear) Zick Zack Dicke Titten (Big Boobs) "Adieu" For me „Zeit“ and „Angst“ are real masterpieces regarding the videos, lyrics and songs. „Adieu“ is another masterpiece. For this video is very helpful to know Rammstein and also their videos. Or to read afterwards the comments of Rammstein fans. :-) „Dicke Titten“ is really cool, Zick Zack is for my personal taste the weakest of the songs regarding the music. The video itself is crazy and hilarious. For a lyric wise very interesting song, including a masterpiece video: "Angst" from their current album. And „Zeit“ as well. "Adieu" is a fantastic song and the video is incredible as well, but it has so many references to their songs and videos that it is probably not the best song for a "Rammstein Newbie" ;-) "Deutschland" is definitely a "must see“, as it has the highest production quality there is and it is showing the dark history of Germany from the year 9‘bc (Varus battle at Teutoburg forest) till modern times. There is so much going on / happening, there are hidden hints, … that even as a German (like I am) you cannot get everything in one, two ore three times watching it. For something completely different but awesome as well: "Mein Herz brennt", but the acoustic version! Just a piano and tills voice. And tills facial expressions are so haunting and fit perfect o the lyrics. "Ich tu Dir weh" (from Madison Square Garden) has an incredible live show, fantastic singing and lyrics that could get a label "parental advisory", as thy deal with SM. BUT, they there is a plot twist in the lyrics that is not that easy to get and which makes you look different on the "story".

There's no statement being made, guys, Amerika is America in German. Just the DVD intro. And yes, they are whistling...but also play a backing track live. There's also no real controversy... some uninformed ppl accused them of being politically, right...bc they all 6 grew up in the GDU, East Germany...they are in fact, not at all right-leaning. For one video, a cover of Depeche Mode's Stripped, the band made an artistic decision to use old black and white footage of The Olympics, held during Nazi rule, and that made ppl lose their minds. It meant nothing. But Rammstein isn't a band that does things for commercial viability... they create art. Known for their incredible live performances (you really shouldn't skip those older lives...you'll get to know the band), the band also, more recently, create epic music videos...w credit roles...do NOT cut those...let it play thru. More recent videos, are Deutsland, Angst, Zeit, Ich Will, Keine Lust... many more. But guys it makes zero sense to cut straight to current day songs without appreciating their past. And stick w live unless a specific video is suggested... we promise...we know what we're doing! On the drums: Christophe Schneider plays a custom DW Jazz Series kit with a very particular sound...that is uniquely, Rammstein. And, yes, keyboardist, Flake (pron: FLAW-Kawh) is on a treadmill! He can walk up to 17 miles per show!

The wings are about 50 kg (~110 lbs). So they are a burden not only according to the lyrics of the song, but also in purely physical terms - which also explains his severe stride when he enters the stage.

Video, lyrics, and sound are great (my view) and work very well together. For many of Rammstein's videos there are English subtitles available. And at least for the official videos you'll want to understand what's going on. To find a lot of the videos with subtitles, you may search on KZbin for: "educated marine rammstein" + songname For live videos of Rammstein songs, www.youtube.com/@Bucksttabu/playlists is a good source. In case of Rammstein, precise translations of the lyrics is hard work (and sometimes not possible in subtitles), because they are playing many times with double meanings of words or slightly modify common German expressions and symbolic language pictures to invert or change their meanings. (That is even used in the very simple lyrics of "Du hast".) I wish you to enjoy your Rammstein journey.

Very nice.. try a new young family band you may not know.. this is a band that also , like The Warning , started very-very young, 2 girls 3 boys , all the same family.. Rock/Metal . they're called LILIAC (Lil-Lee-Ack) because they started so young they're very polished /tight awesome live band.. the vocalist (Melody) is Ronnie James Dio & Janis Joplin reincarnated into one unmatched, very unique, powerful voice. The best covers I've ever heard.. also awesome original music. Independent band... Try official video "NOTHING" OR MARS Live in CUMMING GEORGIA 2O19. you will not be disappointed.
