Literally finishing up some errands while i watched this and one of those errands is buying a new setup. I was looking at the saltist 30p as a lighter setup to what I have but damn your 25lb setup is kicking ASS! Makes me feel hopeful with enough experience ill be able to reel em in like you do with a similar setup!

My 25lb setup is lightweight and fun. It has landed a lot of fish.

The guy at 34:10, surprised to see him NOT putting the rod under his arm or in his gut-he actually has, and is using a proper belt with a rod but holder. I continue in amazement that in 2020, even pros don't seem to use em, maybe not even know what they are for I guess.

To catch more fish use shorter rod like 6ft or 6.5 foot.You are getting worked on your 8 foot rod.You can cut the amount of time fighting your fish with shorter rod and more pressure on fighting it.
@brandensoutdoorb-channel80843 жыл бұрын
I prefer 8 foot rods for casting distance

Branden's Outdoor Channel 90xf is a really nice light bait stick. I also like using 9’ bait sticks

@@alexdecastro731 i do but the crew of the SD hates ringed hooks. They say it's too much hardware and told me to cut them off.
