It's really a special thing having bands that can grow with their audience - where it's an accompaniment to life - not attempting to recreate the past or reminisce about a 5-10 year period which happened decades ago as though it's more precious & valuable than the here & now. There's so much art, soul & song to be made outside of the part of life that's angst, violence & romance of youth - & every now & then when I see some steadfast 60s/70s rock fan who listens to the same 10 albums on repeat & insists there's never been any good music since their early 20s while endlessly bemoaning the "youth of today", I just see Peter Pan syndrome.

Same sound from the early albuns, not the same adrenaline but still full of energy. The energy is there. I'm 38, listening to them since I was a kid, maybe 1995, 1996.. so glad they still playing! I'm pretty sure Dex and Noodles will never read this, but after so many years waiting, this album... god, you did It again. Your music walks beside me since I was 9 years old. Americana was the first record I bought, and well, It's been a long ride till here. You can't imagine how much your songs helped me in my teenage years and also now that I'm turning 32 (and guess I'm not the only one here, isn't It?). You are the reason I play drums, you are the reason I love punk rock. And then... well, "Fix you" is my fiancee fav song ;). You really changed me and I'm glad your music will never leave me. Thanks for this 23 years. Thanks for your lyrics when I was really down. Thanks for your riffs when I feel angry or happy. And at the end, thanks for the best moment of my life, when I first listened Americana with my dad (not a great fan of punk rock actually, but he liked that anyway :)).
