This was such a great interview and so honest Jack always made playing football look like a hobby I always would look out for his smile I had money on him to score a goal in the 2019 drawn final so it covered cost of the ticket for the 5 in a row 💙 I am delighted to hear about growing up without a television reading etc and now he’s in paedeatrics he might be able to encourage children not being reared by screens Our new Dr Alex Krev 💙🥼 now there’s a fantasy😍

Bernard you’re a top man, but I think the difference with Jack is he genuinely doesn’t care what anyone else thinks of him. It’s a very rare place for a modern male to get to. Ridiculously talented on and off the field. I could listen to him all day. Bernard you asked him some great questions!

Jack ...to early to step down i feel but I'm sure he has a great passion in his. .own job with kid's etc. GOSH!! When he was with the 'blues' and on 4 Dublin it was like looking at the 'Six Million Dollar Man' ha ha!! no one could ever catch him going to miss him & I'm sure i speak for all the true (blue supporter's ) Male & Female. Bernard, another cracking player for the dubs! Great interview but were all movin on in life with work commitments & life I'm sure "Jack Mc Caffrey" has made the right decision... who knows ,he may be back ?? At last honesty from a Dublin player about what is dublins greatest advantage is in the modern era . Living studying working in the county they play for , and people keep talking about funding and splitting Dublin . Unfortunately the only solution for this is professionalism. Or else change the entire intercounty structure, or pray mayo get a lucky win so we can drag this out another bit.
