Galway struggle in the defence when ball is pumped down in on the goal this was very clear against Armagh if Kerry get ball to full forward line fast one touch and its either between the posts or in the back of the net

that’s part of the game plan against derry with shutting their slow deliberate attacks out. scoring won’t be the issue against kerry, our forwards will fancy their chances against the kerry defence. it’s how well we stop the kerry full forward line from getting one on one with our full back line that’ll be the worry

@@BenCreaven I understand that's part of the game plan but what I am saying is, what you just said, if that happens again, how much will Kerry have racked up. It might be too much to claw back where Derry didn't do enough damage on the scoreboard.

Course, it has the potential to be but Galway have dominated a lot of games this year too and have 5/6 real scoring threats. I think it'll be tight personally

Don’t think so to be honest. Don’t think this Kerry team is as good as them Kerry teams were and also Galway are a lot better then what the Mayo 04 and 06 teams were. Personally don’t see where and why people think Kerry will hammer Galway. Galway have improved defensively and have a good defensive plan in place now, might be a bit suspect under the high ball and have dodgy keeper. Very strong around the middle of the field and have three top quality forwards that can do damage to any team.
