You are an excellent teacher. I know you will think I am crazy, but this is so simple that I am going to do two yards like you did, then put a fuzzy pipe cleaner in it and bend it to look like a candy cane. I think it will make a great decoration for the tree or for a present. You inspire me!

May I be so bold as to make a suggestion: this is easier to figure out in 3 colours. Put 2 of colours A, B and C on your needle. Colour A goes into colour B, colour B goes into colour C, and colour C goes into colour A, then another A for the step up. Thats the pattern - A into B, B into C, C into 2 As. You might need to sacrifice an inch of your beading to get started and to figure out your tension. As Kelly says, it's easier once you have something to hold on to!

Love, love your tutorials!!! I just learned the Russian stitch and wondered how it would look with just 11/0's! Now I know. Can't wait to try it. Is there a pattern for your "granny square"please? Thank you.

I love this. I wanna learn it. I'm am still fairly new. It's just a suggestion that would help me out, maybe others... Use larger beads when doing instruction videos so we can see. Im mind gets it...but I cant get it started. I've pulled it out 3-4xs. I'm doing something weird on the 2nd or 3rd row. I cant tell on the video what the first couple of rows look like to see where I'm making the mistake. I know I'm going to love how dainty this will be.

This is tubular peyote. Find a couple videos for tubular peyote and see which one helps. Also, switch the larger size 6/0 so you can fit a skewer or straw in the center of ring when you start and that will help you understand how the pattern us going. Practice with a larger bead. Also, if you do not know how to do even count peyote, you should actually start with videos on how to do that first. It's not hard and you are going to enjoy it.

@@valeriestephens4857 thank you so much. It's not my bead size that's my problem it's the bead size in the video. It would be better for beginners if instructions were done using 6 or even wooden beads. 11s and 15s on camera dont show up well. Thank you for telling me it's a round tubular peyote. Maybe bill use a toothpick in the middle. 🤩I'm going get this.

This is wonderful! Hoping to do some beading over the holidays ... I'm wondering how this would look with 15s? Where's my magnifying class, LOL?!
@lesliewood83824 жыл бұрын
If you want to use 15s you may have trouble fitting the thread through each bead more than one time. Make sure each bead has a big enough hole, and use the thinnest nymo thread that has been stretched several times before using. Good luck!
