Edit-September 2021- I would not purchase this pad for the snare sound because you can't hear a snare sound whatsoever in my opinion and I really don't think I'm hard of hearing so-to-speak. The jingles just simply don't respond to the sticks striking the pad. I would purchase the regular V3 pad instead. I have two V3s, so no problem there.
