Can anyone imagine how much of an angel she would be if she were still alive today? She would continue to touch so many lives with her voice. Ofra was a beautriful Yemeni Jew, rescued from the Yemeni concentration camp in Operation Magic Carpet. God bless you Israel. She held no hate in her heart, performed in Yemen to sold out audiences, was and is a favorite among muslims, Palistinians, included. Pakistanis included. She had one of the great JEwish souls of all time. And that puts her high, high above the rest. God rest and keep you, beautiful, beautiful Jewish girl. The voice of the century.

This Ofra CD reminds me of being younger before 2001, learning to drive in my dads new car. It was so nice and hi-tech compared to our last one and he had a job over seas where he got the cd. It was such an optimistic time. GOOD MEMORIES thank you Ofra!

I have only come across Ofra the last two days. Her music has captivated me. I can't really understand how her voice captures my very soul...but it does. Today was the funeral of my best friend for 29 years. She died barely 50 years old from breast cancer. I wonder 'why' because she was the best to all. Tonight, I somehow find comfort listening to Ofra yet again...now my friend can know Ofra in heaven..that is a joy. Thanks Ofra for greeting my friend in heaven and singing to her a new joy song of worship before The Almighty.
