Im from Htown and my other uncle was the fire chief of ATL Chief Mac Billings. Yes you did have gangs bc i clearly remember watching a gang called Down by Law jump boyz in on the baseball field of Columbia High. Nothing about Decatur resembles LA in any way fam. Just saying...

I was born in Atlanta, but I stayed in LA(Denker Ave.) from 3-9 ,then moved to Decatur(Eastwcyk) and I stayed all over Atlanta. West LA and Decatur or the Eastside is similar based on the things I said. If you 47 and you went to Columbia I’m sure you went to school with some white folk right, go to Columbia now and count how many white folks up there(White flight). Same with Weschester High in west LA. While u was in school at that time Harper High School & Washington High was ALL black, just like Fremont High School(East LA) was black at the time. Black people moved from East LA to West LA just like Black folk moved from the Westside to the Eastside, especially Decatur. There are more projects and apartments in East LA than there are in West LA, just like there are more project and apartments on the Westside of Atlanta than there are on the Eastside. Kirkwood was more ghetto than Decatur, just like Watts(East LA) is more ghetto than Crenshaw. There are more people with manicured lawns and driveways in West LA than East LA. That’s what I’m talking about. As far as gangs if you never stayed in LA you wouldn’t understand. Ain’t nobody in in the state of GA riding up on you asking you where u from, ever.

I've been known about a Q-102 for many years their East Coast Crip's, now I don't know whether or not they turned Nayborhood or not, but I know about the 1st. Crip's, and Aliso village Brim's, actually I told Alex, about the Aliso village Brim's many moons ago, but he probably doesn't remember, because I've been watching, and following Alex Alonzo for many years when he was on BET Oh Drama show what's the comedian Kym Whitley talking about street gang's with Dub C/ WC, and Monster Kody, and I have a big Cousin that's been incarcerated for over 28 years, and he's from Eight Tray Gangsta's, and I remember talking to him on the phone while in prison, and he didn't say anything good, about Monster Kody, but I admire Monster Kody, myself, because he's a very intelligent black man that came from the struggle just like me, Alex Alonzo, and the rest of us, most of us people of color, came from the struggle, and racism still exist in Amerikkka 💯
