I like to personally thank each and everyone of you for your respect... After the up coming Jimel Barn's interview I will make a few comments to intelligence questions only....And then I'm done speaking on both Jimel and Raymond.....I find it's sad that grown ass men can't except truth.... Check out any thing I said if it's true you should stand by truth no matter who it comes from....case and point ...I said Raymond wasn't the best with his hands...I get a hundred hates..Moon from Avenues said Raymond wasn't the best he gets 0 hates..... Some of us have a long way to go I question some of your age..... your mind set.... your unwilling to except truth.... But your willingness to except none truth......A guy named Bone did a documentary staying Crips had the Lavenders on the roof for hours... This was a slap in the face.....A guy that was probably a baby lie... This is not in Crip nor bishop history but another lie that will be told over and over.......I have shared with you my story and the truth as I know it to be.......You can take it or leave it alone.....If you question why more triple og don't come out.... Maybe it's the negative response the names were called by grow men...... guys who are now seniors sharing with you truth and your response is like children do you know or do you not know that we have children grandchildren and even great grandchildren's yet we come out to speak to you in truth that you might know true history sometimes we are a foolish people the amount of hate that we have towards one another is simply disturbing and when this hate comes from grown men 20 30 40 and even 50 years old is simply scary

do not let these people get to you, Some people are children to the very end, Raymond washington is dead so they hold him out to be some sort of fairy tale figure when we should all know he was human too. Some of us out here respect you very much for sharing what you can with us . I personally would love to hear you talk more about that era especially about 92nd and beach st. i actually stayed there briefly and was in awe when you pointed out your house there and your garage, i had no idea that was your spot like that.

In order to understand the significance of Craig Munson slapping Raymond , you need to comprehend how physically huge Craig was and he was older than Raymond by a few years. Remember also that Munson went to prison for beating a dude to death with a hammer. That doesnt make Raymond look like a punk. It makes him appear HUMAN.
@jimmylavender38956 жыл бұрын

I was just thinking the other day, how would things would have been if Munson had not went to prison
@sunrah44696 жыл бұрын
king tau Interesting to speculate on that. Munson has said in an interview that he was pretty much done banging by his late teens as were a lot of these O.G'S , so its probable that things would have turned out just the way they did, with Raymond Kicking off what became first a citywide, then a worldwide phenomenon that has lasted nearly half a century.

ONE TRUE GOD you sound ignorant.. the truth hurts over 15,000 men & women have been murdered over the past 50 years between Crips and Bloods. At the end of the day nobody won. When the Crips started they did nothing but destruction in the Black community, like killing innocent young black men over a leather coat, I salute the ones who chose anti Crip, and said we ain't with that negativity shit, however ended up becoming just like the Crips.. this shit was started by some teenagers, just think of that mentality, you sound like you still stuck in that same teenager mentally. like jimmy said ( people need to listen ) in kev macs first few interviews with jim , jim never said that raymond couldn't fight , and he definitely NEVER said that Ray was a coward . what he said was ( in my words ) that these documentary flicks always make it seem as though Raymond L. Washington was some type of folk lore warrior and that he beat the breaks off every cat he encounters .. Jim put it clear .. and kept it real and said YES Raymond loved to fight and was a fighter ..BUT not this mythical being that these lame tv documentary programs like Nat Geo ECT say he was . look its only common sense ..that Raymond was a bully and whooped alot of ass ..but he also must have lost a few fights . and I take jimmys word for it . we all sin some and loose some . what I will say is it seems like Raymond had 2 sides to him , as most of us do .. Raymond got down and he was a leader ..not so much of his fighting skills , but because the boy was a heck of a intelect minded cat who knew how to carry himself and talk to cats and get them to join this super gang " THE CRIBS " . respectfully my personal opinion is individuals like barefoot pookie and others throw add ons to Raymond. I think Raymond may have been a good leader with much people skills . but we also can't ignore that raymond washinton was disgruntled by what the crips had turned out to be .. I don't believe that Ray would have wanted all this killing going on and it has been proven so by the testimony of cats like jimmy amongst others who keep it real . for god sake the man adopted Rayshana ( Rays Daughter ) as his niece .. I don't see cutes ..pookie or others having that type of relationship with raymonds offspring so what gives man .. jimmy regardless of being a ex co founder of what would become a blood gang years later is raymonds true friend . may god guide jim .

You can’t even speak objective truth without being called a hater! It’s sad when you can understand that the truth isn’t always sweet and it’s bitter! Smh....once again brother Kev Mac...congrats on ur great work. But i must sincerely and dearly disagree with the great brother..Jimmy Lavender's intentions and approach in proving there is no hate and or jealously toward ,Mr.Washington ...Please bare with me...this may take a while, but in my opinion its worth it. Brother Lavender u are a special and rare indidvual,and we appreciate ur plight and ur historical connecting of the dots of a piece of this awesome los angeles history,that affected (4 the bad and good) the ,hip hop,community, america and even the entire world 4 that matter. But I must say, first of all brother Lavender came out and said legend Raymond Washington was knocked out by Craig Munson by the way he was EMPHATIC and factual about it...then came back to correct it by saying...he was slapped by Mr.Munson..Ok this event came about...NOT in Mr.Lavenders presence,so why even speak on it ?.U were not there.. Second..Mr.Lavender states...the crips were started and i quote"by a slap to Raymond "... as if to imply Raymond never would have started the crips if he wasnt...slapped by Munson...this to is a lite weight diss (The slap being reiterated)...Mr.Washington... and his involvement early on in gang banging help start the crips... ..the slap...just influenced the process faster...U ARE DESTINED TO BE WHAT U ARE DESIGNATED TO BE...Third ..Mr.Lavender mentions Raymond taught him how to flip...???? ok a man who is repudiated in fighting,toughness and leadership ability ,..Thats what ur willingly to share with us about what he contributed to u...he taught u how to FLIP?..sounds like u gave forced credit to Raymond.. over sumthing thats not that important..that ur not ashamed of admitting u learned from him....and sum thing that doesnt add to Raymonds legend. Per sa like ...if he taught u how to fight,or looked out 4 u in the streets. Also brother.Lavender i think it would have been a good idea to put things into context.. Raymond being slapped by Craig....if im not mistaken Raymond born in 53...Craig 48...that meant the slap occurred when Craig is 20yrs of age and Raymond 15 about to turn 16...a huge grown man vs a becoming adult...why not share that part of the story with us as well...if ur concerned with setting the record straight? U have also given credit to a man that is clearly mentally challenged (Jimel Barnes).. who said he cracked Raymond...and 10,000 crips started running.U say Raymond didnt have great hand speed,or good head movement i take it u have been hit by Mr.Washington? If not how do u know? if u say u saw him fight...that would be extremely important to know...then my next question would be why not share THAT story...and if u say u didn't see him fight.. u were told...then once again u were NOT THERE. U say u and Raymond were tight from 12-19yrs of age...so for the last 6 yrs of his life..u didn't associate with him and or be around the same circles at the same time as Mr.Washington...so his,head movement, hand speed may have improved,right? Now that i have said that...let me make my point...I in no way glorify violence and or black on black crime..the epidemic has to STOP..But its a travesty that this remarkable man has been overshadowed for yrs...and others have piggy backed of his work...Such as Stanley Tookie Williams...also people in the know are afraid to say what they know to be true about Tookie as a crip and his sexuality...but yet very confident to slight the founder of the Crips even if there intentions is to tell the truth..then lets tell the truth on TOOKIE...lmao i doubt cats will speak up on that issue Tookie is a global HERO made by the white MEDIA,smh...I believe Brother Washington based on street,man and gangster principles is more honorable than Tookie..but yet 4 gotten. Mr.Lavender i was told by my granddaddy.."if u aint..never lost a fight,than u aint never been in 1". So...no one is crazy to believe Raymond won all his fights...but we as black folks need not to slight each other even if u say "Its the truth" unless its helping the next man....Raymond Lee Washington is sum what of an enigma and sum what a ghetto super hero..lets let that be as it is!!. We have no clue what he could have accomplished had he lived ( in a goid way)..obviously the LADP made sure of that...he was supposedly gun down by sum one in a car..that had 4 people in it...Do ur homework on the shady Government ritualistic satanic killing the number 4...represents,death and or sacrifice . Any way we as blacks catch enough hell from white media discrediting us and lying on the truth about us as is. U dont...see white folks saying that about there people ..when u heard 0f a white man...discredit Boxing Legend Rocky Marciano,or Nba legend Larry Bird, or Butch Cassidy...etc? ...they DONT DO IT...I swear on my dad grave...i truly mean well in my comments not here to dis anyone. Brother.Lavender ..much love and respect to u...and ur family same to u...Kev....and if i have offended any one with this post. I sincerely apologize. Thank u much!

sam cooke ... Brother Sam I truly appreciate ur comments and respect.... Thank you sir.... Let's start with my correction from a knock out to a slap.....In 1969 it was said Munson knock out Raymond.... This rumor spreaded like wild flowers...I always believed this to be true....So I repeated it.... Shortly after I Ran across a brother name Paul who was Avenue.the conversation came up... Paul said he was there and that Munson slap him around.....I then had lunch with Munson.He wanted the truth to be told so I ask what really happened....He told me he slap Raymond that Raymond was to young to hit....I came back on Kev Mac and repeated what Munson and Paul told me...... Raymond in leaving said I'm starting my own gang.... and he did... This is our history... concerning Jamel... Raymond had no natural enemy.. Jimel was hated at the age of 12 by the Avenues and was force to fight....I know he said a lot of things.understand in 1990 he was in a mental health center..15 years I believe before making that statement about Tookie....I stand on truth .. when I heard them telling untruths I stood against all odds defending Jimel reputation as a Crip... For this I became hated... Brother Sam I'm about truth.....All those who oppose me who had lie became known as lier's when head Huncho came out with the truth about Jimel.... proving I had spoken truth.... On fighting..... your probably right...As fighters we do learn more as we become older.I haven't seen Raymond fight since he was around 16 once he started his gang it became 20 one...nor did I see much of him he was always in jail..... Raymond was a walk in type fighter looking for the one big shot...in his fight with chief ... chief hands was to quick.... Raymond failed to adjust.... Moon from Avenues said Raymond wasn't the best...He received 0 hates...I said the same and receive a 100 hates.....I can tell your very intelligent and definitely pay attention I respect that.... Feel free to discuss anything concerning our history...I do not glorified our foolishness it only hurted us as a people... Looking forward to hearing from you...May our Creator find favorite in you

Raymond was a bully smh I like how jimmy doesn’t try to mess up history due to how much of a friend they were. Cutes the type of guy that would big up people because of his relationship. Plus cutes was a young buck and he don’t know the real history

Jimmy Banged from 72-74 Cutes banged in 71, lol. Jimmy keep shit real real for real, but has a disdain for Raymond. While Cutes may up someone, Jimmy will down talk his close friend Raymond and in Jimmy’s book he pretty much calls everyone a bully, even himself. So being a bully to Jimmy was a ordinary kid.

@@KMVideosLiveStreams no Jimmy is sayin' they were-all bullies because ➡️ They were-all bullies. Wakey-wakey, Kev Mac. You need to grow-out of this embarrassing gang-shit. It's cringe seeing you tryna be cool. What's more is you need to stop distorting history and promoting - as 'hip' - those who, destroyed their-own lives and what's worse destroyed the lives of countless beautiful humans - so, you can pay for your gambling addiction. Crips and Bloods are a disgrace.
