I’m wanting to build a car. I have an 83 four eye notch. The details that you touched in suspension are something I completely overlooked. It’s a dream I’ve had since my first 66 mustang. This is my first fox body. I’ve watch the 405 since their beginning days. I’m entering late in my life but it’s a life dream. Hopefully I complete it before I have to race mobility chairs.

Shawn you could teach a chassis setup class. You can tell that you have been doing this for years and are legit. I have a leaf spring nova and now thinking the four link is the change I need. Mine is just a fun car not full race but it need a better suspension for the power it has.

New car isn’t a pro mod yes it’s a tube chassis but it has steel roof rear quarters and trunk ridge as well as a “ stock wheel base “ Pro mods are all glass basically a door slammer funny car with everything moved around .

@@jasonsparshott7208 Incorrect. Promods are tube chassis cars, mostly with strut front ends, that were built to do nothing but professionally track race. It does not matter what material the body is made out of. That is 100% irrelevant. You could build a Promod with a concrete body if you wanted. The reason people talk about carbon cars as Promods is because 99% of them are. They don't put carbon bodies on factory frame rails. If a car doesn't have factory frame rails(is a full tube chassis), vin number(which the new car doesn't have), factory style front suspension, or a factory wheel base then it is a Promod. If it fails any of those stipulations, it can't be anything other than a Promod. Murder Nova himself calls it a Promod and races it in Promod classes on the track.
