People think Compton/LA/California loves Kendrick just because.... Never do they hear about what hes done apart from the music, he's donated from his Nike deal to the kids, does free performances at the bounty hunters, pays for funerals, puts money in the people locked up books, he's donated to the schools in Compton. He's done so much and he's never posted it on KZbin/Instagram. Let the people talk about him and they'll tell you what a great person he's been. Music wise AND personal wise Kendrick is better than the rest

I’ve heard what Kendrick does from my family in California and I live in Baton Rouge with a niece who lives and teaches in New Orleans. Niece in California went from high school in LA to full scholarship to college to full scholarship full scholarship to UCLA law school, graduated and giving back to the same program who helped her. Thanks Kendrick. I guess Wayne had to be bailed out himself so his money choices are selfish and can’t be written off, so you wouldn’t see these things in New Orleans, just him thinking he’s owed something!

I don't know about other parents but not only do I research streets, park and community center founders or who they're named after but make sure my kids know all the history around them. It's dismissive, degrading and shows he lacks appreciation of the vision and work of the one that gave them the park. You better believe had it been named after a panther or even black notable from the past and others said this, he would have lost it. Educate your children people. Ramon Gonzales, a local business owner who raised money to build baseball fields in the area. The park has produced many Major League caliber players, including Eddie Murray, John Young, Hubie Brooks, Ozzie Smith, Eric Davis, Darryl Strawberry, Duke Snider, and Kenny Landreaux.
