Coach, i don`t understand why they wear headgear in 70% sparring, is it their own preference? The head of the small guy is a big target

To get used to having you move your head with (MORE RANGE) because it is a bigger target also to get used to the blocked peripheral vision!

I used to wear it just to get used to it. And takes some getting used to. At first, it is pretty damn awkward because I couldn’t see well and my head felt like a block. I used to wear it on the bag too. Figured I would chime in even tho your question was directed to the coach :). Hope you don’t mind my opinion.
