I would like to see Ogres attack a dwarf hold. They break the outer defense in days but then spend years having to squeeze into hallways and room all while very angry dawi shoot them in the knees.

Ah cool I didn't realize Ogres could be so clever and diplomatic. You can respect them on a level for keeping their word and the simplicity of it is beautiful. Like I love the Skaven but no real backstabbing and there's a degree of reliability like you hold up your end of the bargain, pay them, or feed them I suppose would work too and they protect you and it just seems like actual mutually beneficial relationships between peoples in the old world are so rare it makes examples like even that shine.

What's weird is I can easily see the OK being a very powerful economic faction in game 3. Especially Goldtooths faction. They have power over the silk road, and trade relations with the Dawi Zharr, so maybe some mechanic where you had to keep the silk road safe and you could trade slaves to the Chaos Dwarfs for money or food or weapons. I imagine the only way you could limit the power of the Ogre Kingdoms is by implementing the food mechanic and making them rather expensive but powerful units, and putting emphasis on getting your economy going would be an interesting mechanic.

There is actually one example of a half elf in Warhammer Fantasy in the novel _Gilead's Blood._ The elves in the story are shocked and disgusted that one of their friends mated with a human, but come to have some respect for his half human son.

I CONTEST THINE ANSWER TO HALFBREEDS! Though it is for one race lol. Beastmen. If I recall correctly, yes there are female beastmen but they are exceptionally rare to see. BUT at the same time I'm not sure if it was your video or The Inept General (my main sources of lore for warhammer fantasy) Beastmen take captives, and if they are female and well not dead... When a Daddy beastmen finds a human female very lovely... I'm not sure if this stands for elves too but once can fantasize in their solitary moments of Slaneesh worshiping sessions.

@loremaster_of_sotek You still had the Rhinox along with rules in FW for 9th..... just they were not added to the main army book as FW and GW does not cross over. This could be overlook and it was downplayed in the final army book.

@@loremasterofsotek hahaha I think it was because I wanted 9th edition. (oops it has been years and I miss that game.) Ya the army book was fairly clear on that Rhinonxes were done. Do you think this was a case of the GW and FW separation of rules and product lines to also help avoid conflict in sales with the Mournfangs? Or GW already had the long running plan going back a good deal of time to kill off WFB and did not want some models to carry over. We saw the stop in the model development for the khaidi destroyer and that got swept away with the new game. Oh I was talking about that FW had updated their rules for using Rhinonx Riders on their website. Sadly, zero lore for them and they costed a silly amount of money to buy and the points cost was also extreme near lord/hero level.

@@loremasterofsotek I'm not sure how much you followed the old WFB podcasters back in the day but they had some solid theories about why and when GW ended WFB. Most of the why is GW did not understand the market and it was a lose in money in the end of 7th. But we saw that too with 6th and 7th 40k and bad directions / choices that promoted a bad gaming environment. A few WFB pod casters did a deep dive theory based on a release date break down between each army book, BRB and between the content of the model releases. It seemed liked that GW had made that choice early into 8th or at the end of 7th to try something new. I was a Tomb King, Ogre Kingdom and Legion of Azghor player with 200 old night goblins begging me to paint them. My gaming community died with SoA so I'm just enjoying total war and the awesome video on youtube. Thanks for the work you put in.

I don't like how warhammer is kind of shitting on the Orcs. Like crushing an Ork Warboss 😐 Orcs aren't the smartest bunch, but they can get fucking MASSIVE!! Like way bigger than an Ogre can get. Wasn't the biggest orc like over 40 feet tall or something crazy!?!? I mean an average Orc Warboss is like what 12 or 15 feetish... Some of this orgre lore stuff concerning them wiping the floor with Orcs in the Warhammer universe is a bit silly. Especially the enslaving orc part lol. Their too stupid and rage like to be slaved up. Unless you had it in a fighting pit where it doesnt really care as long as it gets to fight. The slaving part is also ridiculous. I mean Orcs straight up fight Terranids with up close axe and sword half the time. Yet their gnna cower to some fat sorta big ogre!?🤔 An orgre that is probably the size of a meduim size Orc... It is just lazy writing imho.
