Surface rust: Super-easy correction process. Apply rust converter chemical (it will dry and turn the rust black)...let it dry (4-hours max). Then apply galvanizing spray (12 oz cans from Lowe's), you're done. Repair stops the rust and lasts for many years.

I am amazed at the number of times grain gets moved by augers - seed bin to air drill and into the ground. Harvested by the combine and then to a grain cart or truck, from the grain cart or truck to destination elevator or manufacturing facility for storage there or to on farm bin storage for later sale to the destination elevator or manufacturing facility, Destination elevator or manufacturing facility will auger it around their facilities to meet their needs. The elevators will then ship the grain out in trainload lots to manufacturing facilities or export elevators at ports to be loaded into ships and be distributed throughout the world - and on and on.

great video, remember the one Leg Arms was riding that 3' auger while getting all the bin footings set, then a fantastic series of building the pea cleaner, that was epic. Next pouring the slabs for the new bins now setting them in place. This video shows years of work all coming together. You don't usually run the pea cleaner alone glad you managed to film and not miss something. Golly you even cracked a joke about John Travolta. Fantastic, take care all, stay safe.

Great videos, hombres. I look forward to seeing your latest endeavors. I grew up in South Texas in the 1950s and 1960s and drove Allis-Chalmers, John Deere, and Massey-Harris farm tractors. The last tractor I drove in 1968 before joining the Marine Corps was a new lime-green Barn Series Steiger. I did comment on Elon's StarShip size and the movement of your storage bins, but it was an apples-and-oranges comparison. I appreciate your entertainment, awesome. Sempre-Fi.

Speaking for myself, I would have loved to see some of the finessing putting the bins together. I have some similar projects to do someday. Even if I didn't it would have been interesting to see. I think you were so late details like what brand name grain bins they were?. Did you have to use the same brand name grain bin rings on the bottom? What did those end up costing? To me these project videos are even better than most field videos. Thank for sharing.

The grains are unloaded by simply tipping the truck and are stacked higher up with a loader, and emptied with the same loader and therefore there is no need to pay for electricity or anything else.

If you were looking to save money, yet poured the wrong sized pad for the 2nd 24' bin. Is it possible to use the side rings of the 4th bin, adding them on the 1st 24' bin to make that double the height and simply not use the roof? Or is that not a possibility due to structural strength and possible collapse? I remember you adding steel shanks or stays in bins previously to help strengthen the sides. That way you just have to find a used bin for the smaller pad!
