I grew up in the beatle era..I want to tell you somthing....the greatest duet of all time that will never happen is JOHN LENNON and KELLY CLARKSON, kelly did an AMAZING>..almost unreal job..she did the impossible she redefiend a Beatles song...NO one who ever covered a beatles song ....ever sang like that.and Johns and Kellys voice..would be incredible... It was a requested song that she apparently didn't know until THAT day. Clearly she didn't have time to rehearse it much, if not at all. As a result, it wasn't in the ideal key for her, leaving her to have to go up an octave. Give the girl a damn break.

The problem was... she didn't put enough time in preparing to sing it. The song was simply way in the wrong key too low for her. So when it went too low then she'd jump up and octave, then when it went up even higher she either dropped it back or she dropped it a third it and kept picking random keys in the song. The end, for me, she pulled it together and it was great. She even had a bit of hoarseness like she did on the AI finally which I think sounds fantastic.If she picks the right key to start, she should add it to her set.

Really acrobatic singers ruin so many songs! This is a sexy song and Kellys fantastic voice Just does not do it justice. If this was the first time I heard this song I wouldn't give it a second listen.
