Oh My Girl is seriously the perfect blend of vocals, choreo, concept, discography, variety skills, personality and definitely visuals. They're labeled in Korea as the idol of idols for a reason bc from big seniors like IU, to fellow 3rd gen groups like Twice and rising juniors like LOONA, are big fans of Oh My Girl. I seriously suggest you check out even their b-side tracks (Japanese songs included, you won't regret it I promise), and variety guestings and I guarantee you'll fall deeper into them. also the structure of windy day is meant to imitate the actual wind and how the wind can change at any moment! it starts out really quiet and soft just like a soft breeze, and then the chorus is happier and brighter which is like a stronger wind, and then the last part of the drop is like a storm as it’s really hard and intense! just thought I would share because I thought it was pretty cool (you can see it in the music video visuals too)!

everybody is coming to agreement that Oh My Girl has three eras, 1st era is their debut 2015 to 2017 - the group consisted of 8 members 2nd era 2018 - 2019 - they won their first music show award with "Secret Garden" and WM(their company) started to put more resources into the group. Jine also left the group due to health issues, leavening the girls currently at 7 members. 3rd era 2020 - after Queendom, they gained a big boost in popularity after the show OMG was always hovering around and barely being a top 10 girl group After Queendom, this year they are now considered in the top 5 and actually challenging to be the most popular girl group in Korea

yeeeesss oh my girl! idk anything about them outside of their music and their names (though i still get jiho and arin confused sometimes, rip) but i love their sound so much. the woman you kept pointing out throughout was Hyojung, the leader! and the woman at the very beginning you pointed out in closer at 4:28 is Seunghee :) and the rapper is Mimi!

The one with the high note in Closer is Seunghee one of the 2 main vocalists in the group along with Hyojung. My 2 favorite things about Closer is the choreo from the front looks fairly generic but fun however it's very neat from a top down view their positions are zodiac signs. The second one is the perfect rap for the song where it's completely unexpected but works. The girl you asked about in the prechorus of Liar Liar is Hyojung the other main vocalist

A-ing 2016(A remake of a 90's kpop song) and Coloring Book 2017. They were on the verge of disbandment when they released Secret Garden 2018 and the masses finally took notice. The rest shall we say is history.

When I first watched OMG I binged all the mv's from start to the latest (at the time The 5th Season). Every single mv left me wanting more and by the time I had reached The 5th Season I knew I had to stan. I agree with what you say about GFriend. Three groups I stan are OMG, GFriend and Dreamcatcher and I often think GFriend are the middle ground. If you go left you get OMG, if you go right you get DC.
