People, if you ever find the one, please for the love of god do NOT propose with an audience. The amount of pressure you'll be putting on that person is immeasurable. In that moment, if they're not ready for that commitment yet, they literally have two choices: They either say yes because of the pressure and then detract it later and disappoint you, or say no and disappoint everyone watching, who then see them as an asshole or something for saying no and leaving you heartbroken. If you're gonna propose, just do it privately. It's fine. You don't need an audience.
