Hello from across the pond here in Canada. 🇨🇦 I do mean directly across the pond at that as I currently live in St John’s Newfoundland. I just love watching the little lambs. Their little tails almost flutter off as they nurse and then soon they get to the hippity / hoppity stage and so fun to watch. You would know if one of the lambs didn’t have success from his enema or physic (says this old nurse)… You had such a beautiful day for your line of laundry and all too soon rain. 🙄

We are definitely seeing a lot of rain here and it’s feeling very chilly too , when the sun comes out it makes a big difference but the air is cool!! Lambing can bring such joy but also so much effort x

Lovely footage Joanna , it would be interesting to see how many steps a day you and Nick make during lambing. Do you have any particular regime with your feet, I am sure they take some hammering in the wet when you are more or less reduced to wellies

I do about 90 miles a week at the moment , just around in circles at the farm! I have a watch that tracks it. Nick doesn’t do as many I do the bulk of the physical work and nick helps me when I need it. My legs and feet ache !!
