Also, from a production standpoint your subtitles are very effective in giving everyone a view of what the next aspect of the segment will be and that you are still discussing it. Farke has a plan and it’s starting to work. He must shut out the noise and condition the players to deliver what he wants. We’ll get stronger as the season progresses. Oh and we need a finishing school to sharpen that front line! Stick to the plan, we’ll get there…

Calls for the manager to be sacked at this stage is wild. Its not the most exciting brand of football but good teams build from defence only conceded 4 goals this season (3 in one game) would take 1-0 and 2-0 wins all season end result is promotion. Wish Farke was more proactive with his subs

Hello, all the way from sunny Australia! We really did play well I reckon, we dominated the game full 90 The only change I would make to our game is we have to use the subs earlier, players like Tanaka and Rothwell are too good at this level to bring on for a few minutes but then again i won’t try to give managerial advice too Daniel Farke, the man has forgotten more than I know At the end of the day we got the job done and that’s all that matters, especially considering we do not normally do well in wales. onto Coventry we go, MOT!!

You have given a good match analysis Evie got all the points of view Good ,bad and the ugly 🤝🫶. We have played 3 matches away and team's haven't scored against us yet 🙌. This league is brutal and the hardest second tier in the world 🌎 to get out of I still back Daniel Farke he's the only manager who knew how to play the big man Georginio all the other managers couldn't get a tune out of the big man Georginio. Also Dan James is the player he is now because of Daniel Farke his man management of players is good. I wish he would use the sub's better Evie bring on the lads earlier so they can prove a point they can come on and change a game. 3 points good win and Cardiff are usually our bogey team. Good luck 🍀 with your podcast and show it's going to get better and you helped Jess get going with her show and now you have yours so respect 🤝🙏 it's always refreshing to have a woman's opinions on football they are just as valuable as a man's and you know your football keep fighting we all love Leeds 🦚🇮🇨🤍💛💙. Totally agree with you, it was a frustrating and at times boring game but i think you have to take the game in its context. After they went to 10 men the urgency in the game went, even as a spectator my nerves vanished and the game became less interesting for me. Also the atmosphere at Cardiff, the game just seemed strange from the get go. Leeds did what they needed to do, got the 3 points, 2 brilliant goals, clean sheet, no injuries...social media can seem like a real negative place sometimes!

Aye I agree with a fair chunk of all that. Always been of the opinion that if you don't make the opposition GK earn his matchday wage then you've not really done enough quality attacking, as you say the conversion has been poor for a while now, I guess maybe it's partially coz we aren't a premier league club with premier league quality players currently but if it was even just a bit better as you say it could help us spend more time in the top 2. I also felt it was a match where the new players could have had more chance to get some game time, against a poor side like Cardiff it was a prime opportunity for them however farke has apparently come out and said he didn't want to risk it incase Cardiff nicked a goal back. I think of Struijk scores the penalty then you definitely bring on the new lads as the game really would be fairly certain by then. I think we will become more expansive once the players trust each other like how our front lads from last season did, again the team is playing very one sided but I think part of that is we miss Dan james, once Dan's fit and playing again on the right I think the right gets used more, time will tell on that. While I felt we should have beaten Cardiff by more than 2-0, I still celebrated the win, winning is all the substance we need right now, prettier football will come when we are in the premier league with better players, right now let's get out of this division, if all our wins this season are 2-0 and we get 28 of them, with say 9 draws and 9 losses like the Bielsa season then I'm confident we go up on that. And with our richer owners, they'll be able to build the club a squad good enough over the next 5 years to be a stable top half premier league club, and then who knows what the future holds, but right now, just won games and get promoted, whoever has been saying they'd prefer nice football even if we lose needs to rethink their thoughts process PDF'nQ! Nice vid again Evie, looking forward to the next one. MOT!!!

Great reel Evie , just one thing i cannot seem to get over is Mr Farke does not seem to make substitutions quick enough , but my main point is do we really need to holding midfielders in Gruev and Ampadu ,when going down to ten men ,Tanaka seems to the player that can make space and likes going forward, And at last we give Piroe the role he was bought for , not the quickest of forwards ,but your comment with Joseph and him up front together seems excellent.
@discourseofpeacocksАй бұрын
I agree that Farke seems quite determined in his game plan and often doesn't seem to be proactive with changing things up. You could argue if it works the majority of the time (points wise not necessarily entertainment wise) then why would he risk changing. I agree with the Tanaka point.

Watching the Man City Arsenal game on Sunday I could see lots of similarities. Not comparing us to Man City but they spent at least 15 minutes of the second half tapping the ball around the edge of box. Sometimes I wish we would just stick it in the box and be more aggressive
@WoldsWhiteАй бұрын
I still think the team lacks confidence and seem frightened to try things and often just opt for the safe pass. Farke needs to loosen the leash so they can try creative crosses and passes, or shots from distance. Shooting accuracy seems to be a lost skill, pity Peter Lorimer is not still around to coach them how it’s done.

My issue with Farke is his appalling in game management. He has (according to every content creator) the best squad in the league, therefore there is an expectation of automatic promotion. I was at Wembley when we lost, for the third time in a season, to the team that finished 4th. He hadn’t learned anything about Southampton or how to beat them and that’s a worry if we do get promoted. The football is boring and safe, and that isn’t a problem if we win and get promoted - I just dint think we will get promote with Farke in charge. I’ll still celebrate any win though. Good work Evie. You can play excellent football against teams like Cardiff if you don't spend half the game passing side ways. It wasn't Man City,it was bloody Cardiff
@discourseofpeacocksАй бұрын
A low block is designed to make teams pass side to side and smother the game, it is a very useful system to employ when you don't have the quality to go up against the opponent
@glenculliney3852Ай бұрын
@discourseofpeacocks You are correct, but there are ways to get around the block. You can go over it or passed it,but for it to work,your players have to go forward and under this bloody clown of a manager,that is unlikely.

@glenculliney3852 did we win against this low block though? Bielsa struggled, he relied on player quality especially Pablo. Low blocks are effective and we limped over the line, the point being we got over it, we didn't drop points.

@TerryHorner-hb1il I understand that, but do you also understand that last season has literally never happened in the league before? 3 teams haven't got 90 plus points and 1 of them didn't go up. I agree we have to improve, but by the end of last season the players who's performances had dropped after March have all left the club. I think there's a common factor of all of those star players putting themselves before the club. I think the main thing we have to improve on this season is conversion and being a threat from set pieces would be nice 😆

My issues with farkes are certain things not saying farke out by the way but he has me nervous about playing teams like sheff utd & Sunderland who are strong defensively will likely sit back & hit in counter it’s exactly how they played against hull & farkes slow pedestrian patient football will not work against them massive doubts. His subs the real issue Cardiff were absolutely abysmal couldn’t pass 5 yards & yet he still played cautious with 2 cdms for 90 mins against that lot was ridiculous, if he wasn’t going to be less cautious against them then who would he be against? Tanaka tells us he wanted him since last season yet plays him 5 mins a game what’s the point so say gruev gets injured then what Tanaka going to come in cold he’s never going to get match sharp playing 5 mins a game it’s ridiculous & constantly bringing byram on as 1 of the first subs is another baffling decision. There’s teams where been pragmatic makes sense against a 10 men Cardiff side not getting out of their half & 1 nil up isn’t 1 of them

sorry you said its not farke's fault the players aren't scoring isn't that his job he coaches them week in week out he can't sort set pieces and he still thinks piroe is a no10 and he didn't ask for a new striker so he has got to get the ones we have scoring moving the ball faster and having someone in the box to finish the chances would help all he has to do with piroe is what Unai Emery did with watkins he told him to stay central and stop roaming around the pitch its not hard
@discourseofpeacocksАй бұрын
Was it Bielsas fault that we couldn't score? There's a reason why strikers and clinical forwards are so expensive and it's because it's a hard ask to get a forward that has more than a 15% conversion rate at this level. I do agree about the piroe in the 10 that is obvious to see. I'm presuming it's because he was so expensive that he is having to make him work. I don't think Piroe was number 1 choice on the list that's why
