If i remember correctly, Oblivions Peak was written about a friend of the band, who got kicked out of his fraternity for being gay...

Good, that guy was too good for them. I hope he bounced back and is happily married to the man of his dreams while the other losers can't even keep a girlfriend or are divorced.

Fun Fact the ending of Deadringer is an old tune by Byran's grandfather, whose band was named the same.

If you haven’t dove much into their music, you should definitely consider doing some Kublai Khan TX album stuff. Lowest Form of Animal is one hell of an EP, otherwise their album Absolute is a great starting point.

Great album and reaction. I highly recomend checking out some of the songs off this album played live for the full experience though, there are some great videos on youtube that show just how hard their shows go.

Great reaction man! Laugh Tracks is incredible and unique, but now you have to check out ADSOB the 2019 album, it's just another league, it's hard to explain, but you'll understand I'll promise.

This record would be right at home in 1998. That’s not an insult.

The Rain is featuring Bryan Garris' brother, Dallas at the end there.

Jumped into the rabbit hole of your K//L reactions and love them so far. You gotta hear where they started though! I love Pop Culture but man it’s very different and you can tell they hadn’t found their sound but it’s got a raw aspect that none of the other releases have. My neighbor in college showed me these dudes in 2014, right after they released it, and they had like 2000 listeners on Spotify at the time. No clue how he found them, but I fell in love with it and never would have thought in a million years they would reach this level of talent and popularity. You gotta give it a go!! 🔥🔥🔥 Fun facts: the vocalist at the end of The Rain is actually Bryan’s younger brother, Dallas Garris; also, Billy No Mates is a response, or sequel to “All My Friends” off of their first release Pop Culture. The lyrics are all-telling if you listen to both of them. “All my friends are so full of sh*t” - to “Maybe I’m the one that’s so full of sh*t”

They remind me of Converge in so many ways, just way more of a beatdown vibe tho. They'd be right at home in New England hardcore.
