Just like the first episode of the first season was a reference to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. So is this reference to The Thing 1982. What's funny is that the actor from this film, Keith David, took part in the Hazbin Hotel, the sister show of Helluva boss. And the meaning of this episode short at least that we were made to understand that not all Sinners who turn to I.M.P. are simply thirsty for revenge, but ask to commit evil and murder for good, thinking about the safety of their colleagues, friends and relatives and loved ones.

Idk why but my brain instantly took "quantum slur" in like five different directions. Firstly, quantum slides are a technique where you both slide and don't slide in trackmania to gain speed at certain speeds on dirt compared to sliding and full grip so it's like a speedrunning technique for offending people. If there is anything to take at literally true in this episode, I believe it's that the environment was too cold for the crystal. Antarctica had it frigid. Blitzo couldn't warm it up. Etc. Blitzø strikes me as someone who is forceful and likes being "in charge" no matter what position he's in or acts he's doing. His "I'm a top" line while comically missing the point seems to indicate that for him, it's all about his needs. It's not "consuming cloaca" in general that's the problem for him, it's trying to do it his way when his partner wants something different (in this case, the crystal). He's just lucky that Stolas is inexperienced and has a masochistic streak, when Blitzø's go-to move is "harder". The funny part with Chaz is that Blitzø goes in with full enthusiasm, then recognizes that Chaz is bad at sex, when they have a very similar approach.

That's an issue with merch in general, where it removes all context for the sake of consumerism (and that can be extended to part of meme culture too). Usually it's not a big deal but for contexts like that or when merch is made based on things with political messages or on important emotional beats it can be disturbing. Same kind of thing as like, having people making squid games game shows, suddenly you remove all context and make the thing that's criticized by the art.
