Love the instrument switch at the end 😄 Pi (guitarist) at the drums, Class (bassist) got the guitar, Nik (drummer) got the keyboard and Gared (who can play keyboard + drums + guitar) got the only thing he usually doesn't play, the bass.

Blümchen was big in Germany in the 90s, when she was only a teen. The first part of this video is in Lord of the Lost style, the psychedelic part is in 90s Blümchen-style. I love that LOTL are so versatile and just have fun.

Thank you Lee, we finally get to my favourite band!😝😎🖤 Since you seem to be a huge Roxette fan, I can tell you that it was Chris' lifelong dream to cover "The Look" because Roxette are his most important musical influence ever! That surely might be an interesting anecdote to know about, isn't it? Blümchen is a huge pop star in Germany and she had her major success in the 90s, playing Eurodance and Happy Hardcore! She also responded to me that it was Lord of the Lost's and her biggest aim to honour Marie Fredriksson, who sadly passed away in 2019. And I think this magical cover is the perfect love declaration and the most touching memorial one can imagine, I think they even surpassed what they aimed for in the beginning! If you love this version as much as we Losties do, just wait for the release of Lord of the Lost's new COVER ALBUM "Weapons of Mass Seduction" (coming out on December 29th!), as this will include covers from Michael Jackson and Judas Priest to Billy Idol and Bronski Beat! What a splendid way to end the year in style... The guys can play any song - their own compositions as well as covers - and always exceed all expectations by far. And to be honest: Usually I love their covers even more than the originals, and I don't even care if some people would call this blasphemy!🖤✨️🎶 Here's what I told LOTL directly after the video came out, I guess this will capture my initial euphoria the best: My heart tells me that Per is endlessly proud of you right now, it tells me that Marie is shining with the brightest smile from the place where she is looking at you - but I don't even need to ask my heart to know that all of us Losties are in love with you forevermore, and "The Look" is one of a million reasons for the passionate romance between you and us!✨️💜🎶🎙 Everything about this nostalgic masterpiece feels like destiny brought it into being: Chris is making his dream come true to create the cover that tells the story of his life and after all those years the wheel has come full circle - and of course it had to be the LOTL period of dance and disco ("Blood & Glitter" / W.O.M.S) that is giving us this wonderful journey through time! Blümchen and you crossing paths was also a preordained event that simply had to happen - not only because the LEGEND is the perfect fit for LOTL and "The Look", but also because there's no other soul that could rock out to this seductive tune as she can, embraced by the fiery spirit of you guys...🔥🖤🔥 Isn't Chris and Jasmin a match composed in heaven?!??! I don't even need to emphasize how ace the video looks like, how your musical approach and your "LOOK" is complementing this historic piece of music celestially, how "The Look" will undoubtedly become an infinite fan favourite and constant part of your setlists, how heart-melting this visual frenzy is if we just regard it as an early Christmas present - everyone knows the incomparable abilities and creativity of you guys, and we all know that you deserve so much more love and recognition all over the world! However, a danceable allure like this will definitely cast a spell over future Losties, and we will become more and more eventually, and I'm sure the love and the light we are radiating together will make this world a better place. Well, you guys are already making a significant change deep within the hearts of so many people, and I can't even count how often thrilling hymns like this one saved my life from darkness and misery. Of course I have to go back to the beginning to end my lines of contemplation: My biggest wish is the collaboration between Per and Chris becoming reality - no one would deserve this accolade more than Chris, and all of us who've been on this voyage together with you know about the deep meaning of Roxette in Chris' life. And indeed, an ecstatic party like this video will make this collab happen, this is what my heart told me first! You don't even know how much I love who you are and what you do, you lifesavers!✨️💜🎶🎙

🤩I was fortunate enough to see Roxette live in Boston, during their "Join The Joyride World Tour". They rocked, and it was a show I will never forget. By the way, the members' names were: Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. They had more Nº1's in America than ABBA, and maybe even more than their compatriots, Ace Of Base. During their active years, Roxette had very heavy radio airplay here in the U.S.
