i think this video is about that feeling when you've fallen for someone and realize they've never felt that way about you, that way all the experiences you've shared seem to have meant nothing to that person when it meant the world to you.. and that's why in a split second every scene cuts to her by herself, meaning it's like these things never even happened with that person. and then again maybe she's just crazy af! this song is so moving though!

Recently I lost the last person alive who truly loved me. And so I've been feeling a heartache but unable to cry. But too much has happened to me in the past few years already, this song calmed me more than once through abusive relationships and one sided feelings. When I listened to this now I felt calm at first but then I remembered... Someone I resent likes this band too. I was sad at first thinking "it doesn't belong to me" ... Then I felt just a little bit relieved thinking no matter how much some people want to pretend they never did me wrong I am still me and this song will still tell my feelings. Thanks for getting this cry outta me.
@leticiameijide75706 жыл бұрын
For me this song represents a time when a great love makes us lose our sanity and the sadness as being "alone" loving someone who will never be for us. The anxiety of having to get away from him and at the same time take him deep inside you.
@serenabarro52383 жыл бұрын
I love this song. I dated someone for few months. It was quick but I could tell the connection between us was real. I had to let him go due to my mental illness. I guess I just couldn't bear letting him tolerate my behaviour that I, myself, can't even control. I always listen to this song from the time I was thinking of ending things up til now that we're over. He didn't see it coming. I feel bad, I know he's hurt. But that won't last for long because I know that finally, he'll be able to find someone who can love him genuinely and whom he can love in return. This song reminds me that if you cannot change yourself for the better then don't let your partner suffer from it. Let them find the love they deserve. Either that or change your toxic behaviour and treat them how they deserve to be treated.

Im pretty sure that its after the break up that she drives away, when she goes to the store and he stole the little car chain when she walked up to the cashier and he disapeared, the cashier looked confused because she was talking to nobody. (If you go back the mans gone) Then when they go to the restaurant she gets 2 milkshakes, the man never drinks the milkshake and when the waiter came to take the order she was talking to thin air. He wasn't there. At the last scene at the restaurant he leaves with the purse and you hear breaking glass. She runs away ALONE holding the purse, at the motel place during the pillow fight when it passes her skirt, he is gone. Not there. He is imaginary. Finally after "he" dumps the gas on the car, she is holding the lighter that he had and he had disapeared. Otherwise, this is the best song and Im so in love with it :D

And that must be why immediately after we see him flip closed the lighter (at the beginning of the video) we see the lighter's already inside her car. She's just imagining him there with her the whole time.

He also disappears from the chair at the campfire. And of course that's why she wakes up all alone in the car, until he magically reappears. And why the confused waitress tried to take away his fork. Thank you so much for this comment!

when it's over and you just can't seem to get past it. The video goes very well with the song, sad as it may be. Very underrated musicians!
